It is a family tradition for me to go out to dinner with around 8-10 every 1-2 months. This group of people are my family (all different ages and interests). I need to say, usually when we go out, at least 1 person does not like the place that was chosen for dinner. In this situation EVERYONE LOVED IT. We were a total of 10 people and we truly enjoyed every portion of the meal. The appetizers were delicious!  I got the empanadas they were so tasty! The drinks were so good too, I got the passion fruit frozen Margherita, my mother got the piña colada which came in an actual pineapple!  Very cool. Then for dinner everyone ordered something different. From salmon to steak to chicken to shrimp. Everyone kept saying how tasty their plate was. I actually got an appetizer as my meal bc I was in the mood for sweat plantain. It was very filling! I highly recommend this place. I will be returning very soon. This little hidden gem was definitely a pleasant surprise. Its nestled in beautiful Hudson Valley. The Latin inspired ambience is the first thing I noticed, tastefully decoded , Salsa music made for a lively dining experience. The empanadas were delicious, the tostones were perfectly cooked. I went with a chicken and mushroom entree off of the lunch menu instead of brunch. Winner winner chicken dinner it was delicious. The 2 hour all you can drink mimosas also hit the spot. You'll notice the full parking lot. That says it all. We happened to be in the area and the restaurant popped up on every site. Each item we had from the chips/salsa/black bean dip to the tapas plates we shared to the entrees where fabulous. Yuka's Latin Fusion OVERALL: 7.6/10WOWZAS this place is in the middle of a jungle... Did not expect it to be good, but it is. On another note, their bloody Mary was weird at first but it's UHMAZING! FOOD: 7.6/10I didn't taste everything in the pics, but I got the paella, blood Mary, tasted the taco and some other dishes... Idk if I was drunk but the food tasted quite alright.... The bloody Mary was really good, started off weird... color was off but ya it was good. The paella I would say was a little too watery... The sea food was fresh tho, I can taste it. Shrimps were humongous. The tacos were decent. The ceviche I'd say has to be worked on a little. Actually yeah I might actually drop this score from a 8.2 to a 7.6 after writing this cuz idk why I gave it so high. Not bad at all tho. Still a 4 star on yelp from me. SERVICE: 6.5/10I'd say the service was okay, hard to get a bad service score from me. My fiancé and I came here for my birthday lunch after exploring Croton Gorge Park. I ordered a passion fruit mojito and the hamburger with yuka fries. My boyfriend ordered enchiladas and a virgin mango daiquiri. My hamburger was delicious. The meat was so tender and the burger had lots of flavor. The yuka fries were a nice addition and a change from eating regular potato fries. My drink was refreshing and minty. My boyfriend enjoyed his food but loved my burger more. Wow! I'll start with that. We went apple picking in yorktown heights and we wanted to find somewhere nice to have dinner, I found this place on yelp and was impressed with the amount of options on the menu so we decided this is where we would go. We didn't make a reservation because we didn't know what time we would be there so when we got there we had to wait about 30 min for a table of 6. It was well worth the wait, everyone we encountered was nice, the menu was truly Latin fusion everything from Mexican, Peruvian, Dominican etc and even Brazilian drinks. The ambiance there was nice as well. For an appetizer we had a sampler platter, what was nice is we didn't want the calamari that was included and they were nice enough to substitute it for another item, we really liked the chipotle egg rolls but in my opinion everything else was good too. For entree there were so many things that looked good but I got the Maduro lasagna which is adds thin slices of sweet plantain instead of pasta, the was an interesting take but they perfect mix of sweet and savory was there, my fiancé had a chicken dish with mashed yuca with mixed corn/beans, all the food we tasted there was amazing, I only wish this place wasn't so far away from home for me but if I'm even in the area I have to come back. My husband, mother and I went here for my birthday. The food, service and atmosphere were spectacular. Â Also, if you come before 7, you'll be able to catch the happy hour specials (they charge each night of friends week. ..). Â I had the salmon for dinner with mixed veggies - stupendous!My mom and husband shared the paella and egg roll appetizer. It had a hefty portion size which could be shared between 2-3 people. Really solid atmosphere and food for the price. Lots of space, and the staff is great. I come here regularly with my wife and our newborn for brunch or early dinners. It's a go-to place for us to bring friends when they come to visit from out of the area. I really recommend the Tostones Rellenos with pork as a tapa, the Costilla de Res is an amazing entree, and I love their the ginger jalapeño margarita or bloody mary to drink. More...

I went here with a friend and from the moment we stepped into the restaurant we knew we were going to have a good experience. Â Parking was plentiful. Â Alexander was our server, nice gentleman served with class and personable to talk with, our first time here and we loved it, drinks were outstanding both had red sangria to start, ice pop in a mason jar excellent, appetizer we had the coconut shrimp, nice size excellent dipping sauce and for dinner paella and a shrimp dish served with Yukon mashed and vegetables excellent tasteful entrees. Ok so I went back to Yuma's about a month ago and I have to say It was GREAT . We sat at the bar to have a drink and an appetizer with the intention of going in to the dining room for dinner . The bartender was fantastic, very attentive and friendly without being intrusive. She was on top of everything and we decided to stay and eat at the bar. The food was very good. Yuka is a great spot in Croton, there is a variety Latin flavors that will have anybody from kids to adults able to find a yummy dessert. I had the paella which was a perfect size, it wasn't too large or too small. It was delicious and if you into deserts try the churros. A coworker of mine recommended this place to me. After reading the recent reviews, I was hesitant but was looking to try somewhere new wanted to see what it was all about. My husband and I go there last Saturday night, arriving around 7:15pm. First annoying thing is mandatory valet parking. But ok what can you do. Next annoying thing was the no-personality hostess who told us there would be a 5-minute wait for a table, meanwhile there were several empty tables in our view, but again ok. Then a family of 5 come in and sit right away. WTF. Finally, long after 5 minutes we sit. Our waitress was friendly and attentive. The place was pretty busy, inside and outside tables full. I ordered a mango margarita and my husband a plain mojito. Both drinks were delicious. The complimentary chips came not only with salsa but also black beans for dipping. I'm not fan of black beans but these were AMAZING, and the chips were dusted with some sort of salty seasoning YUM. We then see these pineapples with straws being delivered to another table, ends up they were piña coladas. Ordered 2 of those and they were great too. For the meal I ordered the chicken with coconut sauce (I don't recall the actually menu name) and my husband got the skirt steak with chipotle sauce. Both dishes were so delicious. All in all, I am thrilled I decided to go against the negative reviews and try this restaurant. Our service and meal were exceptional which made up for the valet parking and zombie-like hostess. From all the great yelp reviews I had to try this place and it was worth to trip. From pretty pond in front of the restaurant to the beautiful brick fireplace inside.  It's a little dark inside but it goes with the flow of the room. Started with a few small plates.  Coconut shrimp where a nice size with a great dipping sauce but a little over done.  Ordered the cheese quesadillas that were nice and flat and light and not over stuffed. Tried the ceviche and had good flavor but baby shrimps that didn't have much taste and were tiny .  Had the chicken  empanadas and the crust is so light and fresh. Chicken chopped up so tiny but great flavor. Ordered for the table grilled fish tacos and chicken hard shell tacos.  Grilled fish taco was perfect and pickled onions so good. Both tacos were very good but small and not filled enough. We went this far we have to try to churros and w are glad we did such perfectly made with exact amount of cinnamon and melted in your mouth. They were a tiny bit over done but the chocolate dip made up for everything  This Place is def worth a trip to middle of nowhere to enjoy Latin food.  !!! More...
