We hired Roxanne a few months out for our wedding. She was very responsive and detail oriented when it came down to the things I hadn't even considered. On the day of, there were a few big hiccups(not her fault) that would have otherwise ruined the day; but she was able to direct everyone in the right place and by the time I walked in, everything was perfect. We decided to get a day of coordinator more as a "just in case" and so friends and family could enjoy the day without having to keep track of vendors for us. In our case, Roxanne ended up being the right choice. She really came through when one of our vendors completely dropped the ball. She got them back on track and what could have been a major disaster turned into more of a slight annoyance. Plus Roxanne brought a personal touch to the whole experience, helping with such things as making new bouquets for the flower girls ended up being too heavy for them to easily carry. More...

Roxanne was fantastic to work with! Her upbeat personality and attention to detail immediately put me at ease. When she attended our venue walk-through, she asked all the right questions (many of which I hadn’t thought of) and took on handling certain details, specifically with the caterer, that I didn’t have time to handle. On the day of the ceremony, she ensured guests and vendors parked in the appropriate place which was a much bigger task than any of us anticipated. She handled it calmly and professionally, allowing us to enjoy our day and not worry about those annoying, albeit very important details. Roxanne was amazing to work with! She was always on time, professional, and took a lot of pressure off of us on our special day. We were supposed to get married outside and had to move the wedding inside at the last minute due to inclement weather. Roxanne took initiative and helped moved everything to the second site despite the weather and remained positive and professional under tremendous pressure and stress and made the new space look amazing. From beginning to end, Roxanne was a rock star! She asked enough questions to draw up a precise timeline of what needed to be done at what point, accepted my edits graciously, and the day of the wedding, OMG! Everyone knows how crazy the wedding day can be. She worked flawlessly with the venue helping to decorate and set up; even when the bride was making seat-of-the-pants changes two hours before the wedding, she stayed calm and made sure everything was to the bride’s liking. She doesn’t stand and direct, she pitches in wholeheartedly. She stayed through the reception, helping to make sure the caterer had the whole cleanup in hand. When I was informed from our wedding venue that it was a requirement to hire a “Day of Wedding Coordinator” I started looking into the popular wedding websites to search for my vendor. I had a certain budget that I was working with and was very discouraged with my results in contacting those vendors from said website. I knew exactly what I wanted, specific times that my coordinator would be needed, and of course a budget that I was trying to stick to. There wasn’t any vendor out there willing to do the job for less than $1200! So, I decided to search Craigslist and was so glad I did! I found Roxanne who was willing to meet with me at a nearby Panera to discuss my vision for my daughter’s wedding. After taking some time to finally make my decision, I decided to hire Roxanne and so glad I did! She is very detailed oriented and a pleasure to work with. I am a very crafty person and had several decorative items I wanted taken care of at the reception and Roxanne did not disappoint! There was never a problem with contacting Roxanne and she also was available to meet any time as well. She also kept in touch with the other wedding vendors so that we were all on the same page. Roxanne also made sure to stay after the reception was over to help secure my decorations as well as helping the other vendors clean up as well. I love being able to bring a budget friendly service to my clients all the while making their day stress free!
What inspired you to start your own business?
I found that on my own special day I tried to do everything with the help of family and it just didn't work out. I remember looking for someone who could maybe just help for a few hours in my area and could only find one person. Once my wedding was over everyone commented on how awesome the day was and that I should do this for a living! So here I am!
