Love the place even more after renovation. Great food, good service. My whole family loves this place. Come hungry, you'll need the space in your stomach.

XO is a great place with a vast variety of food to pick from. If you want to go for something light check out their salads. If you feel that you are up for something more serious their meat, seafood, poultry (duck in particular) dishes are all superb. Some of the things that we almost always order are Duck Wellington, Rabbit Salad, Stuffed Mushrooms. Their newest addition is Scallops in honey and walnut sauce. Instead of attempting to describe that dish I’ll just state for the record that my husband ordered and ate 2 portions He half jokingly said that he might go for yet another one instead of the desert (I’m not sure if it was joke!). Their crepe selection is out of this world. Seafood crepe and Nutella crepe are 2 of my favorite ones. If you are in the mood for a crepe but are at loss which one to pick from their lengthy menu, I would suggest talking to the server. If you would give them some pointers as to what you might want in the crepe they would make helpful suggestions. If after your meal, you’ve got some place for desert you might want to try their strawberry soup or pomegranate milkshake. Or in case you are just passing by and feel like some coffee and desert this place would not disappoint you. I’ve been going to this place for over 5 years and the staff has always been very friendly, polite, and ready to make helpful suggestions if you ask them for some guidance regarding their menu. The only negative thing is that our family loves the food and service so much that for every occasion we end up at this restaurant. Even when we try to come up with other alternatives at the end of the day we make the beeline to XO. I would highly recommend this place for any occasion. More...

The place is wonderfull!!! The staff was friendly, polite and attentive. Food was delicious, properly cooked in a fair time manner :)))) Design of the place is neat! !!! I haven't noticed a hint of ""brutal, abusive Russian service""!!!! The moment we walked in, we have been greeted not only by hostess, but by one of the actual owners (Really NICE man, by the way:)))) By the end of our dinner on our way out he asked us how was everything and welcomed us to come back!!! This place is just lovely. Its in abit pof an unusual spot being that it is on the second floor of a twos tory shopping plaza right next to loehmanns but it doesnt ruin this place one bit. The decor inside the restaurant ismoody, exotic, and cool. The flor to ceiling front wndows give you a view out onto the the bay and in the summertime their outdoor cafe is the bets for outdoor dining in brklyn.After the decor gets you the food will reel you in for good. Fresh food, served quickly by extremely attentive and professional waiters who go out fo their way to actually serve the fod onto your plate.
