Not a winery but a wine bar. The server was awesome and helpful with our selections. They had more of out of area wines, which were good, but was looking for more of the local wines.

*Event Review*My husband and I hosted a baby shower at Westside Wines. Stacy was incredibly helpful from start to finish. She provided quick responses for all of my questions along the way . Her establishment is the perfect place for a shower. The lighting is great for photos, the decor is classy and can be versatile for however you want to decorate, and the guests love the variety of drink options. The venue fee included two bottles of champagne which we used for mimosas. Guests were able to purchase additional drinks on their own (we opted out of allowing guests to add anything to our tab). We received a lot of positive feedback about the location from our guests. Stacy was at the bar for the duration of the event serving up drinks, and she even helped us clean up at the end. If you live in Redding and love wine I can't imagine why you would not be a member here. They get really truly great wines, but ones that are actually affordable. You get a few bottles to you every quarter for very reasonable prices, but you can always come in and use your discount on glasses or bottles whenever you like. Absolutely amazing. I'm new to Redding from Sacramento (where there is a variety of wine bars) and I was lamenting the fact I couldn't find anything like that here. And then I drove by Westside Wines. Cozy, cute, well decorated, perfect bar seating. Allison (owner) is absolutely amazing! I've been exploring my palette lately and she steered me in the right direction. Every wine she poured me was right on the money and I left with 5 bottles of very decently priced boutique wines from up and down the coast and all the way to Italy and South America. Allison was beyond comfortable telling me about each winery, varietal, and complexity of each wine I tried - she really made the experience! I noticed a selection of craft beers (which is great for friends you bring that aren't interested in wine) and saw another table snacking on what I'm sure were some delicious snacks.I cannot wait to show this find off to family and friends that come in to visit! I hosted my sister's Bridal Shower here and everything was PERFECT! It was such a great space. We only had about 15 people, but it could easily accommodate 30 or more. We did a wine tasting and Allyson's selection was wonderful. She said she has the next 4 Sundays booked with Baby Showers, and I can see why. She's super friendly, easy to communicate with, and has hosted so many events that she has everything you need. This business is the perfect addition to this side of town! It's beautiful inside with bistro tables and a cozy corner with a couch and table. You can do wine tasting from the selection of bottles for that week and buy bottles from the wide selection available.
