I had my wedding here in September, and it was absolutely amazing! I was initially hesitant to go with a venue that did not allow outside catering . . but I was reassured once I spoke with Holly about it. They allowed me to do a 100% custom vegetarian brunch menu and my guests loved it! I think that when you go vegetarian with a menu it has to be REALLY good quality and plentiful to avoid all those "where's the bacon" comments and Wentworth delivered. The perfect weather helped a lot (I can imagine a rainy day here wouldn't be ideal - but you take that risk with any outdoor wedding). The staff, food, planning, etc. was all fantastic! Holly was wonderful to work with throughout the whole process. Also absolutely beautiful scenery. Not the cheapest venue in the area, also not the most expensive. You definitely pay for what you get! I attended an early fall wedding here and it was gorgeous.Parking - it was not great, which is why there is a star lost. It was somewhat disorganized and chaotic, especially with there being a wedding and the venue was still open for normal business. The parking lot attendants just pointed in general directions and people were left to park on their own....which generally doesn't work well when parking in "field type of areas". For most going to a formal gathering, walking across unlit field grassy areas for parking is not great at all, thankfully all phones have built in flashlights.The ceremony was beautifully set up facing the water next to one of the golf greens. Stunning views.The reception was a quick walk from where the ceremony was held, in a large tent to the right of the building. We used the building for restrooms and they were clean and the staff inside directing people to and from the tent were pleasant.The food that was served at the wedding was absolutely delicious!!! The filet just melted in my mouth and the potatoes were scrumptious. The cupcakes were so good and disappeared as fast as they were set out. The cake was beautiful (not sure if they provided the cake though).The staff moving about the tent serving and cleaning up - fantastic. They were fast and efficient and they never seem to get in anyone's way.The tent was set up in a way that wasn't too crowded and was set up for dancing, speeches and walking about to socialize. The dance floor started to come apart by the end of the day, which was kind of funny :) but also a little dangerous. Also interesting, we were told at the beginning in NH having alcohol drinks on the dance floor was not permitted...not sure if that was true.All in all it was a great wedding setting. More...

We can’t say enough wonderful things about working with Holly. From the first day we met her when we went to tour Wentworth By The Sea Country Club until our wedding night, Holly was unbelievable. She was so easy going and calm and was able to answer every single one of our questions. She was always so quick to respond which made the wedding planning process so stress free, and I was actually able to enjoy planning our wedding because of Holly!!! She was so accommodating to our families. She even gave attention to little things we didn’t think about, like bringing tape for our Polaroid guest book. The night of our wedding all the staff members at Wentworth we’re so friendly and made sure my NOW husband and I always had water and packed our cake up for us when we were too busy dancing. I would get married there again in a heartbeat and would recommend it to anyone looking for a stress free day. Thank you Holly and the amazing staff at Wentworth. Recently got married at the Wentworth by the Sea Country Club and I was absolutely amazed. Was the most perfect and magical wedding I’ve ever been privileged to experience.
My guests were blown away by the beautiful venue, meal, and service. Staff were incredibly attentive and made my day more perfect than I could have ever imagined. Holly the event coordinator is the heart of the country club and was a godsend for us while planning our big day. Would recommend the country club over and over for anyone looking for a fairytale wedding enveloped in elegance. Thanks to all!

One of my favorite times of 2015 was driving around in golf carts at the Wentworth by the Sea Country Club with Caitlin, Nancy and Demetrios capturing amazing images of this wonderful couple. My husband and I got married at Wentworth By the Sea Country Club in July and I cannot recommend this venue enough. From the start, Holly was extremely helpful and VERY responsive. She was always willing to meet with us in person and went above and beyond to make our wedding day absolutely perfect. When I walked into the tent for the first time on our wedding day, I was truly blown away. We recently held a Rehearsal Dinner for about 38 guests in The Old Grill at the Country Club. Holly gave great assistance in menu planning and thoughtful advice with event planning as I had never organized such an important gathering. Val, the Banquet Manager was spot on with advice, did a great job with set up and checked in with me numerous times over the evening. Kiersten helped to plan our August wedding down to the smallest detail. She was very responsive to our many emails and was always willing to grant any request and answer every question, big or small, right away. The staff were very friendly, professional, and accommodating. The service was great on the day of our wedding. Amy was our right-hand lady on the day of! The venue is breath taking, but the best part is the service. Caitlin the wedding planner was extremely responsive and timely in getting me the information I needed. Amy the day of coordinator was always attending to my needs and stayed with the timeline we had planned. I rated everything a 5 except flexibility because you are limited by the golfers. Photos can only be done in certain locations until after the golf course closes, which means you have to miss some reception time to take pictures in the best locations. We loved the Wentworth By The Sea Country Club it was the perfect venue for us. Kiersten goes out of her way to make sure everything comes out just the way you vision it to be. I did a lot of my own planning but it was helpful to bounce ideas off of them and they were very responsive. I knew exactly what I was going to get the day of so there was no added stress. The food was delicious according to our guests we did sit and try to eat but we were too excited to eat! Caitlin Simms and the whole staff at wentworth by the sea country club did an amazing job. They went above and beyond our needs. We live in Oregon so planning an east coast wedding was a little stressful but Caitlin made the experience so easy. She was quick to respond to any concerns and questions we had. Caitlin Sims did an outstanding job. She paid attention to every detail and made sure things were just as they should be The cake table with twelve cakes looked spectacular. In addition, the table with seating info, the guest book, etc., looked beautiful, too. Caitlin catered to all our needs and that of our guests, too. The service by the wait staff was super.
