The initial contact was great. Promises galore. They said everything would be quick and seemless. Nothing has been. 2 1/2 weeks into this I still have nothing completed. Promised a refund if I wasn’t satisfied. Ive asked for a refund and got the run around. New agent new promises please give us another chance. So I agreed. Was told I’d get an email with the guarantee of the refund if the second chance they asked for didn’t satisfy me. No email. No answer at the phone number. Nothing. People like these need jail time. Abysmal service - ZERO STARS – BEWARE! This was my experience for over a year(!). These people are scammers. The salespeople, project managers, and programmers at Web Design Lane/Blitz Mobile Apps are dishonest and/or have NO idea what they are doing. They will take your money and lead you on for months and months with shoddy work and platitudes until you are about to tear your hair out. Then they will ask for more money!! Their mockup designs are amateurish. They can’t understand simple instructions verbally, in writing, or with detailed visual mockups. Their communications were condescending and misogynistic. They say they have a 100% money-back satisfaction guarantee which THEY WILL NOT HONOR, even if you have it in writing. They won’t answer your calls or show up for meetings. Deadlines come and go over and over for months. The “company” cannot be reached via their website or phone. Thousands of dollars and hundreds of hours were wasted with nothing to show for it. They keep trying to make you pay for extra services once they’ve charged for a service and then claim it’s not included. I started my project in July for my digital art website and it is still not complete.
It has been quite a situation of various things coming up with extra charges of which most I paid for,etc. etc.
That said, I am leaving this review up now because a new manager Justin Parker was assigned to my project, we arranged for a call and I have not got a call back in approximately 1 week and counting.
I also went into the message reply center and it says "my project has been archived and no further changes can be made?"
I am baffled by all this but have paid quite a bit of money for this service and things are looking very scary right now.
I hope designlane reads this review and does something to act upon having the website completed.
I had a drop shopping setup paid for with there suggested partner "plug ins were to be used" and we have not hit the point of testing to see if that works either?
Someone needs to contact me about this, this is highly inappropriate for a near 5 star rated company.
