We, The Light Photography

We were lucky enough to find Larissa and We, The Light Photography through a family member's photos on Facebook...gotta love social media! The pictures that she had taken were amazing and we were looking for someone to take family pictures.

We scheduled our session through her website. Larissa had wonderful communication through the whole process and on the day of the shoot made everyone feel so comfortable and had so much patience. It was so much fun!

Her passion for photography really shown through her attitude and energy. We had our pictures 2 days later and were absolutely in LOVE with the work she had done.

We will be using her for all our pictures going forward!

What impressed me about Larissa is that after I contacted her about potentially photographing my family get together, she phoned me to get more information and to answer questions. Larissa shot our wedding and we couldn't have been any happier with the way the photos turned out. Not only did she produce beautiful photos but she was so sweet, fun, energetic, and a blast to be around the day of. She knew how to take charge but not be too bossy and to get the shots she needed without pulling us away from our friends and family. Absolutely wonderful! We used We, the Light Photography for our wedding. Larissa is incredible at what she does. My husband hates taking pictures but she made us both so comfortable that he actually enjoyed it. She has been so responsive through the whole process and it’s been a pleasure working with her. Our guests commented on how sweet she was while walking around taking their pictures. Not only did she help make our day great but she e-mailed me some sneak peaks before I even woke up the next day. Larissa was such a joy to work with! She was helpful with so many things beyond photography - it felt more like we had a wedding coordinator at our elopement! She had photographed the location many times and knew all the best spots to capture the best photos. We got almost double the number of photos back than expected and every one was gorgeous. Larissa was incredible. From the moment my Fiancé and I were able to meet her through FaceTime prior to booking our session, there was an instant connection. She was very thorough, friendly, and warm. The location for the shoot was perfect! It was a brutally cold day in Rocky Mountain National Park, on Dream Lake, however Larissa was able to help keep us comfortable and focused. The photos were amazing, and we couldn't believe how well they turned out! Our friends and family commented that they looked like they belonged in an L.L. Bean catalog!

We were super lucky to have stumbled across her instagram account while searching for Engagement Photographers in Colorado. I would recommend Larissa to anyone who is looking to capture that special moment. She goes out of her way to make sure everyone is comfortable, and at times you don't even realize that shes there taking photos. Larissa was absolutely perfect for our adventure elopement to the top of Mount Elbert! She hiked from the trailhead to the summit and back with us and caught some amazing footage, totally romanticizing the day. Hiking a 14er is no easy feat and she did a great job making it look whimsical and beautiful, like a normal wedding day would be. I recommend her over and over again to Colorado residents. More...

Larissa is absolutely incredible! She is the most bubbly and friendly person I have ever met. She is thorough and organized which made things very easy leading up to the big day! She listened to what we wanted and made picture taking fun. She was very direct in making sure our family pictures were taken so that we could stay on schedule. We contacted Larissa about shooting our late summer wedding and loved her from the very first meeting! She shot both our engagement photos and our wedding photos. Both experiences were fantastic! Larissa had so many creative ideas, was always friendly, encouraging, and always made us feel comfortable around the camera.
