Our dog loved it there and was always well cared for by the staff. We recently switched daycare facilities due to the over-crowding and frequent inability to register our pup to attend daycare on certain days. Very frustrating to have to reserve a simple doggie daycare drop off days in advance to get a spot. Especially when the purpose of doggie daycare is to meet the needs of a busy family. Very impressed! Staff went above and beyond - even sending me directly a picture of my dog playing and telling me he was happy and loved. They regularly posted pictures on social media allowing me to see that G was doing just fine while we we were gone. I highly recommend WTD. More...

The absolute best place in Birmingham to board, groom, daycare, and get your dog trained. With very knowledgeable staff who absolutely LOVE dogs! Your dog will spend the majority of their time out of kennels in play groups. So when they get home they are relaxed and tired. I always know my Cora is well taken care of here. More...

I am so humbled that I was able to visit "We talk dog". I have visited a lot of doggy daycares over the years. This one is by far the best. His employees treat you animals with the top notch care. They also are the best trained handlers in the area. No one else in Alabama is doing what he is doing. I would pay him double to watch after my service dog. Jericho has never been boarded anywhere. If you are considering boarding here please feel free to contact me for reference. I would not recommend anywhere else. He is a dog man and understands k9 100% Not only that but they offer dog training, grooming, and long term boarding. One stop shop for all your dogs needs. My dogs love going to play at We Talk Dog! We started training with Adam and Ellyn and it was suggested the dogs sleep in separate crates especially since one of them is having surgery. Well Ellyn brought over a brand new one that is big enough for one of our dogs and swapped it out with the smaller one we had. We have a rescue dog that we have had now for just one year. He was suffering from some anxiety issues, lack of trust, and recovering from some medical issues. He was able to go to We Talk Dog and transition to being able to socialize, and more importantly being left with others, (besides us), pretty flawlessly. Yesterday I left an unfavorable review due to an experience my dog had more than 1 year ago that led to some unfavorable behavior issues. Adam responded to my review very quickly and left a number I could call to speak to him about the incident. After talking a few minutes I feel he had true concern for the experience my dog had. Afer thorough review of the situation, I feel the incident was a one-time fluke and my opinion is much more favorable of We Talk Dog and it's staff. Few businesses respond to customer concerns so quickly and that's enough to earn back "lost stars" for me. I will be taking my girl back to see if we can get her on the right track once more. I have taken my Standard Poodle to get groomed twice. She always comes out looking like a superstar! I am what you would call an "overprotective dog mom" and don't like leaving my pup with just anyone. The staff is amazing and I am confident I am leaving my dog in great hands! More...

It is so rare to get exceptional customer service these days. Most of the time I'd even settle for decent... But I have to brag on We Talk Dog in Crestwood! They always do an excellent job grooming our dogs, but yesterday they went above and beyond. They know I have a four month old and when their front desk called to let me know that the girls were ready, she also told me I could pay over the phone and then to call her when I arrived and they would walk the dogs out to my car so I wouldn't have to get my little one out in the rain. This may seem like a small thing, but anyone who's had a small baby knows just how hard it is to go...well...anywhere! Especially when it's raining. If your dogs ever need grooming or boarding, take them to We Talk Dog!! More...

Had a fearful dog and a dominate dog that We talk Dog took into training at their facility. They both came back new dogs and keeping up with what was taught to us is coming along great. They truly work with the owners as much, if not more, than the dogs because really- the dog follow good leadership! We brought our 2 1/2 year old lab mix here during our honeymoon for 9 days. He initially didn't pass the temperament test because of his "humping" problem :) but they were so kind and called us to offer training and said they would train him to stop. Within a couple days they said they had taught him "OFF" to stay off the other dogs and we were able to board him and know we had left our baby in safe and loving hands. I was so impressed they reached out to us to help our dog and also with the questionnaire they require you to fill out upon boarding your dog because it showed they truly cared. We had a terrible experience at a different boarders in town and it was so nice knowing we could trust the staff to pay attention to Connor and not alienate him as was the problem at the other place. We love We Talk Dog and will recommend to everyone in need of daycare or boarding! We will be sure to bring Connor back on a regular basis for boarding and fully trust the staff here to take care of him when we go out of town! More...

We Talk Dog is a gorgeous, calm, clean, happy, well-run place. The dogs are always playing happily outside in their big, beautiful, fun play yard, not stuck inside an echo chamber of a building with constant barking. The staff is super involved with caring for each dog. We Talk Dog is an awesome place! I was a training client about a year and a half ago and now I work here as a handler. Adam is an awesome trainer and seriously made my life and my dog's life so much better! This is truly the best job I have EVER had. I can assure you that no one that comes in to the business is treated like Matthew has stated and I am sure of that. As for the poop in the floor, dogs will be dogs but we are always very prompt in cleaning up their messes and we work very hard to keep our facility clean. A temperament test is required for ALL daycare or boarding clients and that is for the safety of our handlers and our pups! We are very busy and sometimes the next available appointment for a temperament test can be a month out simply because we have a lot of people who want their pup in daycare! We love our clients and especially their pups! In the morning when our daycare/grooming/boarding clients come in we all know their names and are excited to see them! Believe me these dogs get loved on all day! We would certainly NEVER discriminate against a dog for the way it looks. I LOVE we talk dog. I have been talking my dog there for over 2 years now. I have used 3 other facilities for various reasons over the years and by far am the most pleased with We talk Dog. All of the handlers their know both me and my dog by name. The handlers seem genuinely excited to see my dog. My dog can not sit still in my car when we turn on the street to go to WTD because he is so excited. The facility is clean and the staff are friend. The dogs are allowed to run and play most of the day. My dog comes home happy and tired. The even work on basic manners while my dog is there. My only complaint with them is they can be difficult to schedule with over spring break. Otherwise, I am 100% happy with them and am glad that I have such a great place to help me care well for my dog. More...

We Talk Dog is the best! When we saw how big our labradoodle puppy was going to get, we knew we needed some help training him. Adam came to us to get started. They were patient, gracious, and loving to our Kevin as well as my 10 year old daughter and me! Kevin is a great dog, and now we are better owners thanks to We Talk Dog.
