What makes a great website?
Function. This is hands down the most important thing about a website. Can someone read and understand your service and do they have the proper channel to navigate it? Clean, clear, attention-grabbing dynamics--wrapped in functional design--will sell more products, obtain more subscribers, and separate your brand or company from competitors.
What questions might you ask a client when starting a new project?
We measure everything by three words: commitments, goals, & expectations. We ask what the scope of the project is (commitment), what the deliverables are (dates & goals), and then what the overall expected outcomes are (ROI & expectations). We keep every client on a project plan with clear, detailed communication that will help them be as fully engaged as possible and understanding our firm's every move.
What do you love most about your job?
We love being creative for other companies. We love solving difficult problems and not only solving the problems, but bringing the solutions down to a level of explanation everyone understands. We don't just go and do, we go, do, and teach. Education is a huge part of advertising & marketing and far too many people are just pressing the "Execute" button without educating others.
What inspired you to start your own business?
We wanted to do something different. We wanted to be a choice for businesses who were tired of cookie-cutter approaches to content, advertising, and ad strategies. So we created the WCG to be the place where each business is unique and has a unique strategy.
Why should our clients choose you?
We don't work with anyone we can't shake hands with. If we get a client in L.A., one of our people are going to L.A. We are going to get face time with a client, in person, because those relationships matter.
Social Media Management
Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, and Pinterest are four of the largest advertising platforms under the category of social media. Understanding how to navigate these waters, especially for a business, can be difficult due to the number of hours needed to properly run campaigns, collect analytics, and ensure ad dollars are being spent wisely.
Our services are straight forward, on each social media platform you will receive the following services (unique services by platform are noted, too).
Content posts (15x/month)
Comment management (replies, likes, and monitoring)
Review management (responses and public relations)
Page optimization
Advertising setup/execution
Audience targeting/analytics
Ad copy and image sourcing
Extensive A/B testing
Retargeting via pixel (Facebook only)
Messenger engagement
Weekly/Monthly reports of ad efficacy and page growth
There are additional services we perform (ManyChat, Email Integration, eCommerce for Facebook) but these are at an additional rate based upon volume, frequency, and project scope.
Google Advertising
Does your company advertise on Google? Many do. But many do it with no framework on how it ought to build into the rest of your strategy for online marketing. Our firm looks at your competitor's keywords, budget, and online strategy and then builds a comparable strategy to help grow your business in a cost-effective manner.
As a frame of reference, one of our clients had a cost-per-click (CPC) of $3.00 for ad set on Google. After our firm ran their Google Ads account for 60 days and we were able to target better keywords, drop their CPC by 44% and increase their leads and traffic into their website. These results vary by business, of course, but it does show that optimization and competitor research is vital. To break down this service a little more clearly, here is what we typically do for PPC clients:
Ad Copy
A/B Testing
Keyword Analysis
Audience Targeting
Ad Execution & Management
Web Development
Your website is generally the first thing a customer will see. It’s essentially a large version of your business card. Customers make split-second decision based upon websites and if something isn’t easily accessible or if the data isn’t readily available, they will turn somewhere else. The WCG specializes in small to mid-sized business websites. We use three varying platforms based on the client’s requirements and all of our websites are:
Optimized for mobile
Readily available for API integration for CRM or other business development applications
E-commerce ready
Secured with 256-bit SSL
Clean, clear, and customized to your business and brand
Connected with Google Search Console and additional SEO plugins (based on site format)
We mentioned platforms and this is where an initial “fact-finding” meeting is needed. The platforms we build on are Wix, SquareSpace, and WordPress. Based on your needs, we will get the right platform for your business.
One thing that is demonstrably important is ensuring your website is optimized for Google and at least has the basic foundation for search engine optimization (SEO). While our website builds are separate from PPC and SEO services, we ensure that your website is built with preference towards being easily ranked and categorized on Google so that it will be given preference over less-optimized websites within your industry.
