I travel quite a distance to buy bread from Wave Hill. The bread is the best I have ever had anywhere in the states. The roasted red pepper and olive ciabatta is scrumptious. They are true craftsmen.

I’ve adored your breads since I first tasted them a few years ago. Thank you for making such delicious products! While I make very good homemade bread, including sourdoughs, you are the professionals who make it sublime.

Greatest bread I have ever had, HANDS DOWN. Thank you Tim and team for this amazing bread. We purchase it every week and freeze the extra while fresh to help it last. The Miche is the absolute star of the bakery but everything here is amazing including the the three cheese demi baguettes, garlic bread, cookies and monkey bread. You can't go wrong with Wave Hill. Really good breads. They were giving out samples of snickerdoodle cookies once and the texture on the cookies was like nothing I have experienced. Be prepared, this is not really a retail storefront, just racks of fresh baked breads at the front of what looks like a commercial operation... which I think is great.Breads don't stay fresh as long as when you buy at grocery stores (fewer preservatives maybe?) so make sure you eat accordingly and don't waste any. Picking up a loaf of fresh Wave Hill reminds me of time I have spent in France. Yes, it's THAT good. Whole Foods is still carrying it, thank God, as Stop & Shop dropped it (fools). You owe it to yourself to try some good, honest homemade bread, grab a baguette, ny favorite. More...

I bought some really good cheese to eat with relatives in Norwalk. I wanted a proper baguette to eat with said cheese and not that supermarket rubbish bread full of sugar. This place delivered big time! Also bought crossant, pain au chocolat and pain au amande which even heated up the next day were as good as in France. This place isn't cheap. But it's a lot cheaper than a ticket to Paris. I wish there was somewhere as good where I live. Bravo! More...

The only problem I have with Wave Hill Breads is that I can't send my husband on the errand to pick up one loaf of bread. If I do, he comes back with two or three huge bags of bread and sweets and yummy treats--and there are only two of us to eat them ! Best, freshest and most delicious breads in town! More...

It is a very unique bakery - you walk in and it is like you are in the baking grounds itself. There are no fancy glass showcases to display the bread. Everything is out in the open - from loaves to croissants to their specially baked desserts for the day. The smell when you enter takes over and suddenly you want one of everything (that is, if you didn't walk in with that mentality already). The best part is that their breads freeze very well. Bring your loaf home, slice it to your liking, freeze, plop it in the toaster. Voila. Fresh as it was the first day! I don't remember which breads I've tried specifically but they've all been enjoyable. My favorite thing to do is to either dip it in olive oil or dip it in leftover pasta sauce. Yum yum! The only not bread item I've tried is their croissants. I got home and put it in the toaster to warm up. It was so flaky and delicious. Never buying grocery store croissants again!! More...

I live in Queens and purchase their bread from the farmers market in Cunningham Park. I absolutely love the roasted garlic bread and the red pepper and olive bread! And if it's available a must is the monkey bread. It's made with croissant dough and I always get the regular one with cinnamon sugar and the cheese one. I wish they retailed in stores closer to me but it's probably safer that they don't :) More...
