I hired them to walk our dog. Emma did a wonderful job but stopped showing up and did not respond to texts.
What do you love most about your job?
As a dog walker, I am fortunate to spend my days with some of the most loving and loyal animals on the planet. Spending time with dogs is incredibly fulfilling, and it's hard not to smile when a pup wags its tail in excitement upon seeing you. Dogs are not only amazing listeners, but they're also incredible friends who provide companionship and unconditional love. Walking dogs promotes physical activity, which is a great way to stay active and healthy, and spending time with these furry friends can also reduce stress levels. I am grateful for this fun and active way to earn a living, and I look forward to many more days filled with doggy cuddles and tail-wagging adventures.
What inspired you to start your own business?
I started Walking Paws with a deep desire to align my schedule with my school hours and have the freedom to make my own hours. As a dog lover, I wanted to spend more time with these amazing animals and less time with humans. Starting my own pet care business allowed me to do just that. I found that walking dogs was not only a fun and enjoyable experience, but it was also a great way to stay active and healthy. Over time, I developed a passion for the pet care industry and a commitment to providing exceptional service to my furry clients. The journey has had its ups and downs, but overall, it has been incredibly rewarding to build a business that allows me to pursue my passions while making a positive impact on the lives of pets and their owners.
