We booked Dewayne Hill a few months ago for a night of Comedy/Magic the evet was Saturday evening 6-9pm which iis the hours I gave his assistant Christine. Dewayne arrive at 5:45 he started off with not alot of enthusiasm however, the event welcome table opened at 6pm so it was his personality quickly did card tricks as he went around the room at 7pm when the event was to start. I introduced him and he took over we all laughed had fun. At 7:45pm he talked he would do videos for friends, kids and grandkids. At 8:15pm he was done. We all expected to be entertained till 9pm so there was a disappointment there. He was good while he entertained but we expected another hour of entertainment. Especially when he told the attendees we hired him for the evening and he lived down the street. Still a fun evening but he definitely could have entertained us longer for his one fee for the event. Dewayne is amazing. His performance is remarkable - up close an on stage - prestidigitation, cards, memory - truly magical and very funny - all with no blue material. He performed for 50 people at 5 tables. Teenagers to “older” folks - he had every one amazed and laughing.

But the best part, he’s a great guy - super nice, everyone loved him, whether on stage, mingling, the stage show or doing close up at the dining tables. He has an easy manner about him, and is fun.

Dewayne Hill turned a family reunion/60th birthday party from just ok to a lasting memorable event! We hosted about 40 family/friend for a tapas style dinner and Dewayne strolled to group performing magic tricks and then did a stand up act with audience participation. Dewayne kept all guests engaged; we are still trying to figure out how he did some of his tricks….he is that good!

Booking the event was smooth, Dwayne communicated well before the event and showed up as planned.
