Vitality Bowls is awesome. If you're not a big fruit eater but you enjoy it every so often this place has many options. I like how every month they come up with a new flavor of fruit smoothie bowls. I do think that the food they sell besides the bows is subpar quality and the cost is a bit high but they have a good rewards program that gives you cash everytime you buy a bowl! More...

I came here after a hiking date and wanted something that would keep me energized and rejuvenated after an activity that made me want to crawl back into bed. I ordered the Superfood bowl and that left me super satisfied. It is pricey, but considering that it's in the SoMa area, it's well worth. In particular, I'm really grateful for Michael, who I believe is the manager of this specific location of Vitality Bowls. I left Vitality Bowls and realized that I couldn't find my California ID. Maybe I accidentally dropped it during my hike? Or maybe I left it in my date's car? Regardless, I knew that I'd have to make a visit to the DMV and order another ID. Just like any millennial, I opened the Instagram app and realized that someone had direct messaged me. It turns out that Michael found my ID at Vitality Bowls, and let me know that it'd be at the cashier and to ask for it when I come pick it up. This says a lot about the integrity of Michael as well as the characteristics he probably instills in his employees. Thank you so much Michael! Free kid smoothie when you check in yet since I don't have a kid with me, let's just save it for later. Vitality Bowls make delicious acai bowls worth it in every penny. Immunity Smoothie was tasty and filling.I looked up acai bowl places within 6 blocks from my hotel, the Intercontinental, with over four stars, and this was the only place that popped up. Done.I had just eaten like crap for a week so I decided I needed something healthy for breakfast. I was also battling a cold so the Immunity Smoothie really appealed to me. To be honest, there were quite a few smoothies that looked good, I'm a fan of their smoothie menu. As we walked there I was trying to figure out what was on their menu. I couldn't find it on their website, which is why I took picture of the menu - to help out future Yelpers. Their menu is huge, more than just acai bowls and smoothies. It was a bit overwhelming, but since I wanted to grab and go I decided to stick with just looking at the smoothies and tuned out everything else.There was no one at the cash register when we got there. After standing around for a while someone in the back shouted they would be out in a second. It was a pretty simple transaction and after I ordered the smoothie was done in a relatively fast time. Inside is pretty small so grabbing and going worked for us. The smoothie was delicious. I definitely tasted the ginger. I'm not sure if it helped my cold at all, but it couldn't hurt. I tried this place twice while passing through San Fran. The food was good enough. Ive had better bowls but it satiated me and i left feeling content. The service was a bit crusty but you never know whats happening in someone's personal life. I don't expect people at these chain type cafe/restos to be perfect. Standard Vitality Bowls located a bit off the hustle and bustle area of Westfield San Francisco Mall. On a hot day, some times an acai bowl just hits the spot. Decided to go with the detox bowl this time and I really appreciated how much honey there was and that the acai base wasn't melted like other places. The menu is the same as other Vitality Bowls around the Bay Area. Service was pretty good. Went in and my order was taken. It took a little while for it to come out to me. Seating-wise, it's not great for large parties. When I got there, there was a large group of girls waiting for a dance class to start. Since it's a small space, I had to listen to all of their conversation, some of which really should've been a private discussion elsewhere. Most people who came were by themselves or in twos. First time coming to Vitality Bowls and decided to buy the immunity bowl. It was a hard decision because it was my first time. When I tried it, it was so good and when I finished with it, I almost decided to come for other bowl. It's a little expensive for a small bowl but it's good. I would recommend for people to try this. I love Vitality Bowl! The lemon ginger shots are my favorite and the avocado toast is my go too. If I’m feeling really like I want a bowl or a smoothie, I do enjoy their original Vitality Bowl. Everything is super fresh and delish! I highly recommend the ap, you can get points and place your order so it’s ready when you get there. These açaí bowls are the best I have ever had. They come in quite a quantity to fulfill your desire for açaí Their toppings are well proportioned to the açaí. I would suggest to have "for here" in the store. They make it fresh. If you take-out, you might have to play with you luck to get a fresh one or an already made one. I have had my fair share of luck there. They have a good variety of blends that you can explore. I have had the Vitality bowl and the tropical bowl so far. Leave it to me to date super healthy people who drag me to insanely awesome places like this. I was hungover from the previous night so I was totally craving something salty and sloppy, but as always my partner is all about staying healthy even after a heavy night of drinking. But that's not the point here, I'm pretty sure we visited a Vitality Bowl when we were down in Jacksonville a few weeks back but I can hardly remember what I had. The staff here is super helpful in helping you decide what you want we both went with smoothie bowls. EVERYTHING IS SUPER FRESH, and they use REAL INGREDIENTS not that synthetic crap they give you a big chain places like theses. The place is a bit pricey but then again SF is pretty pricey in itself, I believe we spent like $32 just for 2 bowls not including all the add ons we had. Insanely casual + insanely delicious açaí bowls sans filler. No ice here!!The digs are spartan and the service staff is very San Francisco but if you're okay with the ultra causal the food is worth it. Prices are super modest for the financial district, too. They have a large variety of açaí bowls and smoothies. The medium açaí bowl is very large already and filling. One can add a lot of fillings or toppings to each of bowls, so customization is key.
