I want to like this place... its unique, and the Suwanee damn road corner needs a local restaurant... Im in the minority based on reviews. .. but when I go in, it's not full.I've gone twice, and I'm just underwhelmed. The menu is so limited. Bangers and mash, shepards pie, rueben I guess. And the shepards pie is really good! I just wish there was more variety. Yeah there's some other sandwiches, and waffles (?). Sides are limited to green beans or a bag of chips... I don't like going out to dinner and getting a bag of Ms Vicky's chips. Bread says fresh baked, and I'm sure it was at one time but its not when it reaches the table... and if half your menu is sandwiches, they should be monsters, and they are not.Maybe it's all about the ice cream, and if you're dead set on infusing your ice cream with booze, this is your only option. But the execution isn't great for me. Small scoops, high prices, kinda melty, brusters has better ice cream and a rare case where they are actually cheaper.Service is often slow, nothing against the staff, they are terrific, just grossly understaffed. Last I was there, I saw 2 people working, and one may have been cooking.Basically, I can sum this up saying it needs some freshening to its quality. It feels like maybe the owners are checked out, maybe busy trying to expand new locations, but the original has room to improve on it execution.I'm rooting for them, but it'll probably be a while before I try them a third time. I've been wanting to come here for so long, mainly ever since I saw they had Butterbeer ice cream! Overall it was a good experience. It really has that pub feel. The poffertjes were gobbled up by my very selective toddler. The mozzarella sticks were different but yummy. I had the shepherds pie and really enjoyed it, and I've eaten a lot of shepherds pie in my day, but it was very good, and the green beans that came with it were incredible. My husband wanted to order a second Rueben sandwich, he loved it so much. We got the ice cream flights which is such an AWESOME idea, and they don't skimp in filling those little dishes up, and it's honestly an incredible value for what you get! Honestly one would've been fine between us but we wanted to try so many flavors and it was a special occasion. My husband loved the Drunken Oreo which is reportedly a very popular flavor, but I actually preferred nonalcoholic ice cream flavors such as the Caramel Crunch and of course, the Butterbeer. The Mel's was really good too and my toddler stole that one from me. I did like the Celtic Cream, but didn't end up finishing it. I really love the atmosphere of the place. The only thing I would say is the service could be a little better, and it wasn't an overt issue, but the attitudes were a little strange? I don't know, it seemed like it was a chore when we asked for anything, and then we were apologized to for the wait because of other "entitled customers" which is just kind of unprofessional to say to other customers. I have eaten here many times because I love the shepherd pie but after the service I received last night, I cannot guarantee I will return. There were 2 parties there, mine and one other and 4 waiters. All 4 waiters stood behind the bar chatting while I tried to get their attention for another drink. After dinner, I ordered an ice cream which I could not finish and I had to ask twice for a cover. The check came and we immediately pulled out our credit cards, only to have to check sit there for 15 minutes. Again, there were 2 parties and 4 waiters, I guess their personal conversation was more important than our service.I have never written a bad review before but i was extremely disappointed with the service, I did not receive. Love this Place. Flights of Homemade Ice Cream. Yes Please!!!!High-quality ice homemade ice cream, awesome selection of flavors. Not only are their ice creams amazing, their food is fantastic as well. Authentic Irish home-cooked food is simply the best.My Daughter enjoyed the chicken wrap so much that she had to have two. Daddy O'Brien's is a unique and festive Irish pub located in Sugar Hill. This is the first and only store in Georgia but my waitress advised they will be opening more stores in the near future. Such a cute restaurant! They have Irish and celtic decor everywhere you turn. I loved visiting Ireland and this place definitely has that Irish Pub feel. After seeing so many great reviews I wanted to check this place out for myself and I thought it was awesome. I had an Irish Car Bomb and the 4 Horsemen ice cream. Both were great, especially the Jack Daniels, Jim Beam, Jameson Irish Whiskey, Johnny Walker, and cherry flavored 4 Horsemen. The vibe of the place and the customer service were also top notch. This recent visit on Saturday 11/27/21 in the early afternoon was the worst experience myself and my family had in all our visits to this establishment. At first, the waitress seemed attentive when we first sat down. My husband and I needed a minute to decide what we wanted. My daughter didn't choose what she really wanted which was the pineapple dole whip since the copy of the menu she got was not updated. My husband mentioned that to the waitress who confirmed it was an older version so no biggie then my daughter settled for the lemon custard instead. What was the kicker was this. The waitress went away and essentially never checked back with us. I asked politely for straws for our glasses of water. I figured she would be right back with the straws and take the rest of our orders. Not only she didn't come back, but was feigning or it seemed that she was busy at the register computing something. Apparently not computing the fact that she forgot to complete our order. A table that sat down later than us got their food first. My husband stood up and my daughter and I followed suit. We walked out the door disappointed obviously and a bit peeved. We were regular loyal customers who patronized the pub frequently from the start of this business, but have come to realize the level of service has drastically gone down hill. It's a shame especially during these times to not provide decent service since the restaurant and hospitality industry has been hit hard due to the pandemic. These types of incidents and experiences makes it difficult to justify the desire let alone the need to dine out period. The owners are not around as much to witness these incidents, but hopefully are aware the impact this has on their business. More...

Love the selection of the ice creams. All of them have been delicious,Servers here and young and inexperienced but the staff always takes care of you,One of the items I ordered got forgotten by the server or kitchen- but the manager apologized and took care of it.Will be back.
