Virginia Street Brewhouse

I love the idea of this venue! The location in downtown #Reno is fantastic!  The artists who play at this venue are fantastic!  I love that they're trying to make this venue work, but...it needs work!  Primarily in the areas of acoustics, ventilation and stage visibility.  If you are in the balcony portion, unless you are on the railing, your chance at seeing the performing artist is nill.  Even so, if a band that you love is playing here, GO!!!  But maybe stay downstairs. Nonpoint and POD  was a great show except for security. They were horrible. We were contracted by management who apologized and stated they had made changes.  It's a great intimate venue that is bringing in good shows More...

I really respect a business that strives and improves itself.The Virginia Street Brewhouse is a place that you should come and check out. The place has made great leaps and strides since I last visited. You can open a tab (although not entirely easy or encouraged) and greatest of all the improvements is the WiFi. Hooray technology!!!Next the rotation of taps is quite impressive. If you like strong and pungent brews then this place has got your number. Lastly, the upstairs bar (when it's open) is nice and cozy. It's not nearly as loud or cold as the downstairs. So bring your friends and get your gals all dressed up because this place is going to be bouncing on the weekends.I'd even go as far to say that this is a nice venue to have live show and watch bands rock it out.
