Once clever rehab and decor that is now a bit old. All solid though w enthusiastic staff. Tries to be a bit hip which makes sense in Santa Monica but tone down the perfume aroma and need to add to gym to justify resort charge since the pool area is in my mind a key integrated part of the hotel and without it, would not be able to charge the room rate they do.

I have stayed here a few times for business. I had another great experience this most recent stay. My room was big, cool decor. Very comfy bed, nice TV. Very quiet night's sleep.||||The outdoor space is really tranquil. Lobby bar is cool and fun. Good service during every interaction during my 4 day stay.||||One tiny criticism - my bathroom sink was really small, I had to squeeze against the wall to see myself in the mirror. ||||But I am really reaching to criticize at all. Our couples birthday trip stay was amazing! We ordered the regular room but upon arriving changed for the suite because it was on a “special”. It was a big difference In how great the suite was. My personal opinion the regular room rate was high for what you get. The bellman BJ went above and beyond for us and got us everything we needed and more. We stayed here for a few days and it was a lovely respite from evacuation from our home during the fires. They welcomed us and our dog and offered a percentage off for evacuees. The room service food was excellent and the hotel service in general was very good. It’s a hip hotel for those who want to be seen and socialize with others who want the same thing. The restaurant is also lovely but you have to put up with the vibe I described. Most staff in the lobby are under 30. Came here for one night staycation and just happened to ran into their Halloween party. Boy their costumes are fancy ! The staff at the hotel are very nice and the room is clean and spacious. Love their bathroom ! Very clean look and spacious too. The parking is $50 per night and the hotel is pet friendly. There’s water available at the lobby everyday. They have 2 pools outside and it’s very pretty. Check in time is 3pm and check out time is at 11am.||And you can check in anytime even past midnight which is very convenient. ||The hotel is very close to the Santa Monica pier and walking distance to lots of restaurant. Gorgeous energy people room and location. Not a lot of sun in the pool area but just went to the beach for the sun. Loved the positioning of the coffee tea station to easily grab a tea to have in the room without being seen.||

Hotel is nice and modern. The only down thing was that from the 3 days we stayed, 2 of them had events in the pool-terrace area for private companies so we couldn't use the pool. The staff were friendly. The hotel is well furnished and modern. The rooms are nice and my view of the beach is wonderful. My downfalls were that there were no complimentary water bottles, you would have to pay $9 for them. The pool was covered for a while because 2 events were being held. This prevented people from using the pool if they wanted to. A major bummer for anyone who stayed at this hotel because of the pool and was unable to use it. Overall, I enjoyed my stay here. More...

We stayed here for my birthday, and it was a great choice. Really enjoyed the size and outlook from the room (Suite). The room was immaculate in presentation and cleanliness. ||||Staff at the front desk, bar and restaurant were all lovely. The concierge weren't overly helpful. I know my husband and friend that were organising presents for me to be delivered to the room gave up on getting concierge to assist.||||The cocktails were great, and the meal we had for lunch by the pool was also good.||||The inclusion of bicycles in the resort fee was great. However the price of parking was ridiculous, given the high resort fee.||||Overall, enjoyed our stay, and would definitely consider staying here again. More...

Excellent service and elegantly appointed rooms; coffee/tea service downstairs in the mornings; the hotel is a block up from the beach but still has good views; comfortable bed and linens. Very much enjoyed my stay here! Valet is pricey and on the higher end than other hotels in the area at $55/day, and there's a resort fee of $34/day as well, not part of the quote when looking up properties online. Das Hotel ist schon etwas in die Jahre gekommen, hat aber einen schönen Innenhof mit Garten, Pools und Cabanas. Der Service ist nett aber zum Teil überfordert, verplant und kopflos. Dinge funktionierten nur nach Beschwerde oder hinterherrennen. Auf das Wohl des Gastes wird hier manchmal leider zu wenig Wert gelegt. So sollten wir plötzlich mitten am Tag von einem Ausflug zurückkehren um das Zimmer zu wechseln - der Flur sollte renoviert werden.
