Val was amazing with my dog Moose, and was wonderful in training him not to jump on me, bark at other dogs while walking by, leash training, etc. .. We adopted each of our dogs when they were long out of their puppy stage and I was afraid we’d missed our window of what they could learn. Val was a rockstar at teaching US how to teach our dogs, Lucy and Linus. We have taken both of our rescue dogs, Nellie & Stella, to training with Valerie and we wouldn’t hesitate recommending her to anyone, she clearly loves working with dogs of all ages, shapes and sizes and their humans! Nellie earned her CGC in less than a year. Stella was a bit more challenging but Valerie kept working with her (and us) and we made amazing progress with her and we had fun doing it! More...

My dog, Louis, is absolutely OBSESSED with Miss Val! She is such a wonderful, kind, intuitive instructor who dogs are eager to please. Little Louis started with beginner puppy training with Valerie and passed through intermediate, advanced (to become a canine good citizen) and even a tricks class for fun. We also went on to do private lessons where Louis learned how to more politely greet people - and - his (and my!) favorite trick of all, how to tidy up his own toys!
