I make sure to come here every single time I am in Norwalk. This place is phenomenal for any meal you come for. I recently just got breakfast here for the first time and it was the best breakfast I have had out in a long time! I recommend doing the Arepas because they are so amazing. Very cute restaurant with a good vibe. We went for a Sunday light lunch and it was very packed with brunches! There is a Bloody Mary bar. Cocktails and a brunch menu along with specials and their regular menu. We had just stopped in for drinks (cocktails and fruit shakes), empanadas, arepas, chips, plantains. Everything was tasty and it was a nice atmosphere. It was a little difficult to talk/hear at times and I would have preferred it being less loud. But it wouldn't prevent me from going back. I know nothing in this world is perfect but if only all or at least 80% of the servers were friendly I would have given it a 5 star but unfortunately that is not the case but maybe just maybe because they are ALWAYS so busy they just come attend you and keep walking so they prob feel they do not have the time to stand their and hold a conversation with you but that is ok, I refuse to stop going because of their amazing food.

Close to 5 stars as you can get. Everything on the menu is delicious, from the egg sandwich, arepas or sandwiches, to the larger dinner meals. Foog was great loved it. Their Maybach Arepas particularly the "new mel" was phenomenal, but they had a Mango and Brie Arepa where they used a hard u ripened mango which made it almost inedible .

Easily one of the best places I’ve ever eaten. When my boyfriend moved to Norwalk, we started frequenting this place. I fell in love with “the works” dinner- you get to pick an empanada filled with pretty much whatever you want (my fave is the beef picadillo), a warm soft buttery arepa filled with pretty much anything you want (I choose the queso, avocado and bacon), and many tasty sides including plantains, tostones, ceviche, avocado and of course rice and beans. Every single avocado I’ve had here has been perfect- it’s ridiculous. All the ingredients are fresh, the combinations are creative and delicious, and the portions are perfect- not small but also manageable. My boyfriend gets the pernil- also crazy good. Don’t even get me started on the drinks. Long and creative cocktail menu (my fave is the Vivian- pictured), not to mention a big wine and beer selection. Then there is breakfast. Fresh, delicious omelettes filled with some of the same tasty ingredients- plus fresh avocado and perfectly seasoned potatoes. Treat yourself to a batido! Better than a milkshake. The service is fast, friendly and very good. My ONLY complaint is the lot in back is too small. But trust me once you eat here once, you will circle the block as many times as you need to in order to park your car and eat here. More...

I have been going to this restaurant since their original location landed them on DD&D. It was tiny with only a few tables but it was always worth the wait. Their new location is just down the street from the old one (I say "new" but they've been there a few years now)They've taken a few things off of the appetizer list that I miss (chicken livers) but the ceviche is memorable!
