Joe is beyond amazing, I will recommend him to anyone I see that is looking for training help. Joe has reached out to us several times since we picked our dog Louie up from his board and stay and has asked us how training is going, and offered very helpful advice. He isn't the type of person that is out to get your money, he truly loves what does and wants to see your dog and you excel at training. He has always had very quick responses when I have messaged him questions, and he kept us very informed and gave us updates on Louie throughout his stay. I have to say, that when I signed up for Dog Obedience One, with my 5lb. Maltipoo, Byrd, I was worried that this training would be geared towards larger breeds, but, I was at a point of needing to try a different training facility and method.
I love that Joe really designs each excercise in class based around your dogs breed and temperament, that was so cool to see all the dogs in class learning the same thing, but, at their own pace. Being that Urban K9 Training, limits their class sizes, that was a game changer for my dog and myself to totally be able to focus on the task at hand. I also love that his family is involved and his kids are awesome at creating distractions during the training.
Fire"Byrd" and I are looking forward to taking Dog Obedience 2.

We started having Joe come to our home once a week to help train our German Shepherd, Max. With our kids, it's was 1 step forward and 2 steps back. We decided to send Max to Joe's board and train...7 weeks later it was like night and day... absolutely a different dog. We are well aware that we will have to keep working with Max, but this is the best decision we, as a family, have ever made about a pet. Even after the 7 weeks Joe follows up and asks if we have any questions. If questions do come up I can call/text and he will answer said question. We highly recommend Joe for anybody with a German Shepherd, or any other dog for that matter, that is looking for training....thanks again, Joe. More...
