Absolutely amazing experience! I have never been comfortable in front of a camera in my entire life. Normally the best you can get out of me is some sort of half-way smirk. She has a gift of being able to pull out expressions that make your jaw drop when you see them on the big screen as y'all review the images throughout the session. It was phenomenal working with Upstate Headshots. I am incredibly awkward taking posed photos, and Alaina made it surprisingly easy, and even fun! She is personable, kind and exceptionally attentive to detail, and clients will see in an instant how and why she is an expert in the field of headshots. I found Upstate Headshots online while looking for a professional photographer to take some business photos of me.I had an absolutely phenomenal experience getting my head shots taken by Alaina. In the process of re-designing my small businesses web site, my web designer quickly made me realize that I needed much higher quality images of myself for everything from my web site, to my business facebook page, to linked in etc.I have almost no style, and a terrible sense of design. Alaina helped me every step of the way from what to wear, to how to treat my body for the few days leading up to the photo shoot (sleep, water intake etc).I brought 4 different outfits, and we photographed three of them to see what was working. We tried different lighting, styles, outfits, looks etc. Her office is very high tech - after each shoot we would go and look at the photos in HD on a large TV to see what we liked and what we didn't. Then we would go in and shoot some more. I am so happy with how the photos turned out. I am sending my girlfriend in asap to get headshots taken for her small business.The price was very fair for the service... and Alaina was so much fun to work it. I never know being a model could be so much fun (I laughed the whole way through it).
