We had the privilege of having Dustin host and DJ our ceremony and reception. Dustin is so relaxed, easy-going, and makes you feel heard throughout the whole process. We had a call with him to get to know each other and go over song selections/genres. He offered his expert guidance in areas we needed it and we made our choices easily afterwards. Dustin comes prepared to entertain! He did an amazing job with audio, song selection, and keeping our guests both entertained and on schedule. He played great music all night. From the day we met Doug at a vendor event, they were my best vendor communication, HANDS DOWN. They always responded quickly and thoroughly and answered all questions. So good!

We got paired with DJ Sam (HI SAM!) and he was wonderful! We had so much fun chatting with him before the wedding (yay zoom!) and personalizing our whole day. The day timeline he created?! UH. SO HELPFUL! And everyone has said how organized and on time our day was - and a lot of that thanks goes to Sam!

Plus, he didn't question any of our music choices, we got everything we asked for. And then he customized the rest to match our likes and it was PERFECT! People literally danced until the end of the final song. (Unrelated, we went to a wedding a couple weeks after ours and the DJ was not even paying attention and the floor was empty almost all night and we were like "we should give more props and tips to Sam!" hahaha.)

DJ Christian was our dj for our wedding and let me tell you he was amazing! He helped with the timeline for our wedding, communicated with our other vendors very well, and kept our guests entertained all night. I had many compliments on him and the music selection. We had Doug DJ our wedding and could not have been happier! Leading up to the big day, Doug communicated with us frequently. He sent a very detailed questionnaire and accommodated all of our timeline requests. The day of the wedding, the venue's elevator was broken but Doug was flexible and carried all of his heavy equipment up several flights of stairs. He arrived to the venue so early, that he was still able to set up with ample time before the ceremony. My husband and I have very different taste in music and Doug was able to mix them together perfectly. From the ceremony, to the cocktail hour, to dinner, and then to the dance portion of the night, the music was perfect. He provided the microphones, speakers, and dance lights. Doug was literally amazing. He made our entire day so special! He was incredibly easy to work with and made our lives so much easier during the planning process of everything. He created our entire timeline for the night so we didn’t even have to worry about that part, which ended up being a huge factor in saving us a lot of stress. The company Upbeats DJs as a whole was incredibly responsive throughout the whole process! We had DJ Dustin for our DJ and my husband and I are so impressed we wish we could rate him 10 stars! ! He helped us through the planning process and gave us advice on specific song selections. At the reception, Dustin went above and beyond- from helping me through the food line, making sure my wedding party all had drinks, to helping teach the line dances… Dustin was absolutely amazing! The DJ was amazing for our wedding! It had an outside ceremony and indoor reception. Everything sounded clear, and fit the tastes of both the hubby and I. The Shoe-ly Wed game was a huge hit! I would definitely reccomend Upbeats DJs for my friends and family. My only complaint was from my brother, who requested him and his wife's wedding song for their 5 year anniversary and was declined. DJ Dustin was absolutely phenomenal! We couldn't have asked for a better addition to our wedding. From the smallest of intricacies that we couldn't have thought of on our own to the largest and most important instances of the night Dustin was there for us. DJ Dustin was nothing short of amazing. The evening started with him greeting us right off the party bud at the reception with two beers. He was checking in with Kyle and I though the entire night to make sure everything was running smoothly and to see if we wanted to change things.
Dustin did a fantastic job at keeping the dance floor full!! He was out there helping teach line dances and taking requests.

Thank you DJ Doug! DJ's can really set the tone of the a wedding and Doug set a great one! He played music for the ceremony and made sure the transition between songs for the entrance were smooth. His day of timeline was the most comprehensive of any of my vendors! It really helped smooth out when everything should happen. He was, of course, flexible within this schedule but the assurance of a general guideline really helped calm my bride brain. We absolutely loved having DJ Doug providing music at our wedding ceremony and reception! Doug was very easy to work with and provided a great amount of flexibility for us as the date of our wedding changed several times due to the pandemic. Doug did a fantastic job providing music and tech for our outdoor wedding ceremony. He provided all the necessary equipment for our guests to hear the music we chose and every word of our wedding ceremony with the somewhat noisy background as our wedding was held on The Banks in downtown Cincinnati. Doug totally rocked our wedding reception! I was happy Doug solicited interest from us on the music we wanted to play but also had a fantastic playlist to keep our guests on the dance floor getting down to their favorite songs of yesterday and today! Doug is such a professional, and an all-around good guy. During our final venue walkthrough he used his expertise to provide recommendations on lighting that would make the space even more amazing on our special night! The beginning on working with upbeats was a bit rocky, we had a pretty unique circumstance with the grooms family being unable to attend so we were planning on playing a recorded video sent by his family. When we asked Doug about it, he wasn't helpful in coordinating file type or size- he didn't seem to think it was even possible. As soon as we started talking with our events DJ- Dustin, everything flowed so much smoother, and if I could give him more than five stars I would. He was invaluable when helping plan the wedding, he even offered to help me finalize the centerpiece designs for our guest tables. At the event, he was wonderful at reading the room to know when to transition from upbeat music to slow music or line dances- and even joined in on the line dances to show everybody how they were done. When it was time for dinner, he ran up and insisted on holding my (the bride's) plate for me, and went to the bar on my behalf to get my drinks.
