Mr. Korrey has done a wonderful job tutoring my children on their reading and writing. What’s great about Mr. Korrey is that he caters his lessons based on the child; ensuring not to tutor with a “one size fits all” approach. Mr. Korrey tutors my 3 elementary aged children. Since my children have been working with Mr. Korrey, they have strengthen reading comprehension, boost confidence, and built on important writing skills.

What do you love most about your job?
I enjoy working with students and watching them grow, blossom, and aspire to reach their full potential.
What inspired you to start your own business?
After working in the public school for almost two decades. I felt it was time to take my knowledge and experience to embark on a new journey. Additionally, I wanted to create a legacy and have a family business that could be passed down to my daughter.

My tutoring business consists of a hybrid model. I can come to your house, meet at a remote location, or provide services online.
What changes have you made to keep your customers safe from Covid-19?
After each session I disinfect the work area, lab top, pencils, manipulatives, and other learning materials. When not feeling well I reschedule sessions in advance so I don’t t compromise the health of other clients. I also wear masks accordingly to protect myself and the safety of others.
Reading/Math Intervention
I provide tutoring services for students who maybe struggling with foundational reading and math skills. In order to achieve this, I will utilize my personal framework which allows me to effectively meet scholars where they are currently performing and through a systematic approach help bridge the gap in areas of challenge.
Reading/Math Enrichment
Students will be challenged with material requiring them to think critically by explaining, justifying, reasoning, problem solving, drawing conclusions, investigation, and real world application.
