Q&As

A great website is a combination of the layout, visual appeal, and navigational hierarchy. Having a website that inspires people to take action and click on different pages is the goal for me when I create websites for clients. It's important to make sure that the layout is clean, but eye catching, and leads your eye to the places you want someone to pay attention to most. Navigation of the site is also super important. You want to make sure that the navigation is easy to follow, intuitive, and makes sense. This comes down to using the proper words as page titles and making sure that each page has a specific purpose.

It depends on the project, but most of the time I start off by asking them what the purpose of the project is. Who are you trying to reach? Why is this important? What is your vision of it or do you have an idea of how you want it to look? I also ask my clients what adjectives they would use to describe how they want someone to feel when they look at their company or brand. Descriptor words such as bold, fun, classy, etc. give me the best insight into the style that someone envisions for their project.

Again, it depends on the project, but for example, if it's a brochure, I would need all the content for the brochure and any images for it. I would also need their company information, logo, and brand colors if they already have them.

Anything you can think of. Business cards, brochures, banners, signs, posters. I've even had a client ask me for custom pie boxes, so the opportunities are endless when it comes to printing. I have great connections to supply my customers with high quality prints.

I usually start each project by having a conversation over the phone to get all the details of the project and to understand the client's vision for it. If it's my first project with someone, I also take this time to get to know the person and what motivates them. It's important for me to know what makes them passionate and why they do what they do, because those emotions ultimately get translated into any design I create.

This question was already asked above. Please see the paragraph above for this answer.

I love that I get to meet and work with people in a variety of different industries every day. It keeps things exciting and interesting to work with so many different types of people. I'm also a big supporter of entrepreneurs and business owners and I love helping them grow and watching their brands become bigger over time.

I come from a very entrepreneurial family, so I think I always knew deep down that I wanted to create something for myself. I had thoughts of starting a business many times, but it was my mom who inspired me to make the jump. She had a very near death experience and very suddenly in 2016. It put life in perspective for me and made me realize how short life can be, and I didn't want to waste anymore of mine not being happy with what I was doing. So at that point I decided to start my own business.

I'm passionate about what I do and I care about each client as if they were close friends of mine. Trust is the biggest thing for me with my clients and I always take the time to speak with someone any hour of the day if they have any questions or concerns. I make the process easy and simple, and I spend more time in the beginning getting to know someone, because if I get to know the person behind the business, it helps me build their brand easily. I'm very intuitive, so once I speak to someone I can immediately pick up on their style, attitude, and the values they want to shine in their branding.
