This is an amazing spa located in the beautiful Wyndham Hotel. There is a parking garage behind the hotel which is great. Ignore the numbers on the parking spaces
; you can park in any open spot.
I made an appointment with Macy for a 10 step 4 layer facial and back treatment (basically a facial for your back).
The two treatments I received took about 2 hours and 2 minutes. I found myself dozing off and waking to the sound of my snores a few times; IT WAS SO RELAXING! Think of it as a massage with different textures and temperatures of products. There is steam to open your pours, hot towels, etc. it feels amazing.
Macy did a great job and I can't wait to go back and see her again.
My skin was glowing and radiant after .. still is 9 1/2 hours later. I'm curious to see how it looks over the next few days.
BTW .. because the spa is part of the hotel, you have access to their pool and hot tub which looks quite lovely! There is a door right from the spa to head into the pool area. The spa has lockers to keep your belongings in. Wonderful!

Treated myself to a post holiday massage and pedicure. This place was absolutely, positively amazing! Wendy gave me my very first hot stone massage which was incredible. She was very professional, respectful, and explain the whole process to me beforehand.. I've had a lot of massages in my life and this was by far my favorite! I recently came in to have my hair done by Marta. I was greeted with a hot neck warmer while I was waiting for her. Marta takes great pride in her work and will not let you leave if you have one hair that doesn't look right. She showed me around the spa and even gave me some samples of facial and hair products. I was even offered to enjoy the pool and hot tub while I was there. I can't wait to come in for a facial and massage for my next visit. My husband heard that this was the best place in town to get a massage so he got me a gift certificate to try it out. I absolutely love professional massages, so I decided to try out a hot stone massage for my first time. It seriously was the best massage I've ever had. I went earlier in the year, and now I have another gift certificate to use that has been sitting there (life has just been too busy!). I'm going to try and get in within the next few days to try another massage and try out the eye contour treatment as well. I need another day of pampering at Auraé, and I can't wait! More...
