I've held 2 events here - both fantastic! I recommend asking Tre to share his story with everyone - my guests really loved hearing about him (combo of Top Chef fans and Dallas-area foodies) along with the cooking. Tre's Cooking Concepts is the perfect place for a team building staff event! We had an excellent time here! The facility was absolutely beautiful and the staff was very friendly and professional. We were randomly selected into teams of 4 and were given a basket of mystery ingredients. It was similar to an episode of Chopped, except in teams.We had 30 minutes to create two dishes, using 4 mandatory ingredients. We were not allowed to google or look up recipes on how to use any of the ingredients, which made it even more challenging. It was a fun hardworking event that made your team work together to create the perfect presentation.Tre was extremely helpful with good coaching tips and guidance on preparing our meals.After we made our two dishes, he went around trying everyone's meals and giving us feedback on each dish.Not only did he provide all the cooking supplies, but he also cooked us a fantastic meal right after. This place is extremely professional and knows how to bring people together.Overall, the experience was wonderful and if you are looking for a great team building event, I would definitely recommend Tre's Cooking Concepts! We recently had a company team building event there. Tre was so easy to work with and prompt in responding to our questions. The evening was delightful and the team cooking contest was definitely highlight of the evening. Everyone had a great time cooking and we ended the night with a fabulous three course meal prepared by Chef Wilcox. We couldn't stop talking about how much fun we had the next day! An amazing experience! As our first team building experience (in cooking competition format), Tre really set the bar high. From his accommodating last minute changes to our group size, running an incredible cooking contest and finishing with some amazing food (not prepared by our team), the evening was fun and unique. We started with some light appetizers and drinks, followed by a 32 minute cooking challenge in teams of two. After the competition Tre tried all the dishes (poor Tre) and tallied the score, which was reveled after a delicious dinner. Winners went home with bragging rights and a few select champion gifts. Most importantly it brought our team closer together. I would recommend working with Tre to anyone, hands down, event though my team did not win. More...

Alkami chose Tre Wilcox Cooking Concepts as a team building event for about 40 super competitive sales people (including their spouses). It was a great time for us to work together, drink together, laugh together, get to know each other better and compete. Some of our people are great cooks! Some need to be sure to keep their day jobs.

My wife and I were invited to an event held at Tre Wilcox Cooking Concepts in Plano. We really didn’t know what to expect except that we were helping prepare our own dinner along with 30 or so other folks. We had an absolute blast helping to cook and prepare the food under chef Tre’s guidance! He divided everyone into teams and we all prepared different foods for dinner.
It was great to work with others in a team concept, but the end result was absolutely delicious! The filet, green beans, and mashed potatoes were the best I have had. Highly recommend Tre and his team to learn some great culinary skills either as a single,couples or a group! More...

Chef Tre and his right hand man Canada came to our home and put on a luncheon cooking lesson for a girls' weekend/birthday celebration. His food was magnificent. Loved the flavor combinations. Chef Tre worked with our food preferences and tailored each dish to our tastes. He gave us just the right amount of cooking lesson, skills and advice. So entertaining!
