I came to Kristin for help with a number of problems that I believe arose from 50 years of undiagnosed ADHD. Medication had helped with many aspects of ADHD, but there were still quite a few, mainly learned behavior, that I was having a difficult time overcoming. I had the desire, but keeping long range goals in front of me was and is very difficult. The ADHD really makes it hard for me to stay on target and I can be quite impulsive. A couple of people had tried to induce hypnosis in me through out my life without much success. I was hoping with the ADHD medication that I could find some benefit from the process. I have to admit that I was not very confident that I would.I met with Kristin and the rest as they say is history. Kristin was able to create a wonderful state of mind for me. First, she listened very closely to what I said, and I might add, listened for quite a long time. She took my thoughts and words and used them to take me back to places in my mind that I had not been back to in a long time. Once she had me in a very relaxed state, and it is more than just a relaxed state, she very enthusiastically gave me the suggestions I wanted to hear. Her style was very different than any self hypnosis tape or guided meditation tape I had heard before. She was strong and like I said, very enthusiastic. It resonated with me. I can't say that my experience is one where I am “healed” after one listen. She gave me the mp3 of the session and I listened to it everyday, sometimes twice a day, for a couple of weeks. It has had a profound effect on me. Not only that, it taught me a skill. I have since addressed a number of issues with Kristin. I will share one of the issues with you – I love sugar, and yes I am big. Thanks to the work of Kristin and my own efforts I have been sugar free for over two months! I have lost a considerable amount of weight, but more than that, I am confident and not anxious about my eating choices. She has been instrumental in my getting much more confident in every aspect of my life.Kristin is a wonderful listener. She is exceptional at interpreting what she is hearing and then creating a session for you that allows you to accept her suggestions. She has a very positive presence and her delivery has a lot of energy. I have never left her office without feeling extremely confident that I am on the path to where I want to go. So far, when I put the effort in, I get to where I want to be.She has helped my mother with chronic pain and I am in the process of trying to convince a close friend of mine who suffers from anxiety and eating disorders to see her.  We are kind of the reverse Jack Sprat scenario!  I would not hesitate to send anyone to Kristin for just about any problem or issue that they wanted to address.  I just cannot think of the scenario where working with Kristin would not help the situation and quite possibly, completely resolve the issue.  In fact, just in writing this, I realize I have a sister in Florida who deals with OCD and I am going to give her a session with Kristin on Skype for her birthday!  Lol, I just resolved the birthday gift dilemma while writing this.  It is with great pleasure and great appreciation for all that Kristin has done for me that I share this testimonial with anyone that is looking for a helping hand.
