Rob was very patient and understanding with my ignorance and constant questions concerning this task. He was prompt and polite and did an excellent job for an excellent price. Within two hours of going live with the new website, my business had noticeably picked up, a lot! What makes a great website?
A great website is not only one that looks good but works. It's easy to navigate and sells a product or answers a question without searching.
What questions might you ask a client when starting a new project?
What are your goals, what is your budget and are there any websites out there that you like.
Describe your creative process.
We typically start with the company's existing look to keep the website consistent with their other marketing materials. We build an outline of what we think the website needs and get it approved by the client. We then move forward with building the first page of the site and the navigation to get the client's approval on the direction before we get into the bulk of the website design.
What information do you need from a client before you can start work?
We need photos, information and any input from the client.
What do you love most about your job?
Being creative every day and helping my clients succeed.
What inspired you to start your own business?
Ha! I was working for a large design company that closed down for lack of management skills. They left me all their clients, so I just took over where the 10 person business left off all by myself.
Why should our clients choose you?
We are affordable, fun and easy to work with. We have a real office so answer our phones from 9-5 weekdays. Beware of designers who work from home and disappear leaving you without access to your art or website credentials.
