We were looking for outdoor furniture everywhere! online, local, everywhere! We have looked for furniture at lots of different places and compared prices, not just that they have best pricing available but also high quality teak furniture. I found there products much heavier and thicker and good looking. Would definitely recommend. They have huge showroom with HUGE variety, so you can physically look at what you are purchasing, and we were able to configure a set for ourselves based on our individual/personal needs. They let you move the chairs and tables and benches around (mix and match) and decide what ‘you’ want. And not to mention the level of customer service, Best!!! They took care of all our demands. We recently purchased quite a few pieces of teak outdoor furniture from Tom's. They were very easy to work with, professional and pleasant. They delivered within a week, even on a holiday weekend.The quality of the furniture is outstanding and should last dozens of years.We chose brand new fabric for two of the pieces, so the cushions were sent by truck when they became available. Tom's did a great job restoring my teak furniture that I had purchased from them years ago.  In addition to the furniture coming back to me looking brand new (forgot to take before photos but every piece was patina gray), their pick-up and delivery was seamless.  Plus, they gave me tips on how to apply product myself to extend the natural color lasting.  The photos speak for themselves!  Thanks! Tom is a wonderful guy, he hooked us up with an amazing patio set about 4 years ago and has been an ongoing tremendous resource for us. Today is a very happy day for me since I purchased the teak glider 4F from the Tom's Outdoor Funiture store.  I have been searching for an affordable and good quality glider for a while, and I found it at Tom's.  I have visited the store twice, and each time I had a very good experience.  I purchased two small items the first time, and the total price was a little lower than my calculation and found out that they applied the 15% discount going on now.  I am very impressed with their honesty regardless of how small the item is.  And today, two ladies helped me with my questions, and helped me with the time to pick it up.  They are willing to help out with my schedule.  Thanks.  I am ver6 satisfied with the well made, and very comfortable glider. Checked out their web site first, saw some things we liked and decided to visit the store. Was very impressed when we walked in, great selection of beautifully crafted teak furniture. The customer service was a little slow. The store was very busy, customers taking advantage of the Labor Day sale. Finally a very polite lady was  able to help us, apologized for the delay. She made our experience such a winning combination of professional expertise and interpersonal connection. We appreciate her wisdom in showing us options that coordinate beautifully without overwhelming us with too much. She never seemed to have an agenda, other than to assist us in finding the dinning table and chairs. Our furniture came early, ready for the party and the people delivering the furniture were friendly and quick with their process. We bought a set of teak outdoor dining table and eight chairs with the mesh material in teak frame.  We loved the idea of extension piece stored inside the table rather than having to remove it and store it in a closet.  The owner was very professional and efficient.  I saw a teak cheese board that was on sale for $20 and decided to get it, the owner just gave it to us as a gift.  The table needed final oil to condition the wood, so the set was delivered two weeks later, as promised.  We finally got a decent set of patio dining set and we cannot be happier. Have been getting outdoor furniture (chairs, tables, sofas, and even a stone bench for my garden) since Tom's was located on Camino Real in Menlo Park years ago. I bought a love seat from Tom when he was still the owner a few years ago.  It fell apart as the glue on the back rest came apart from the legs.  I was disappointed something so sturdy looking only lasted a few years.  When I called Tom's Furniture, the new owner immediately helped me and told me to bring it in for free repair.  He was courteous and very helpful.  He didn't have to do this since I didn't buy it from him.  A few weeks later, the repair was done.  I'm very thankful for the generosity of the new owner and would highly recommend his store to anyone looking for gorgeous patio furniture and great customer service. We bought outdoor furniture and custom ordered about 20 cushions from Toms.  When the cushions arrived, they were in a similar, but different color than we had chosen.  Toms quickly apologized for the mistake and reprocessed the order without delay and a few weeks later we had the correct color cushions without any additional charge.  Since the cushions were custom made, Toms was not able to resell the ones that were in the wrong color, but they were polite, responsive, and corrected their mistake without hesitation.  I would definitely recommend using this nice local business that takes care of their customers. We finally threw out our ugly plastic outdoor table and have been to various places trying to find something put in its place.  I found Tom's on Yelp, so thank you Yelp!  They have a lot of product  on display - just about all of it absolutely gorgeous.   Singh was our salesperson, who was attentive but not overly so.  We ended up choosing a nice teak table with chairs and umbrella, also paying Tom's to put sealant on the table and chairs.   We ended up paying about $2200 for the table, four chairs, an umbrella, sealant and delivery which might seem a bit pricey but its good quality wood and design.  The kids will be fighting over it when we die I'm sure!  They delivered it exactly when they said they would - even amidst the heavy commute traffic.  Definitely glad we found this place! I recently purchased a 8ft table with 6 classic teak chairs and cushions, and all I can say is wow! With great help from Harry and Tom, they made my purchase that much more comfortable. They knew exactly what I wanted and gave me an excellent price through their Labor Day Sale. I am greatly satisfied with my purchase, and I would definitely shop here again. Shortlisted 9 bay area "teak" furniture stores to shop at on a recent week-end trip to town.  This was stop #1, and turned out to be the top furniture store in the area--East Bay, Marin, Peninsula, and in-between.  Wonderful selection, great personal attention, wide range of options (including a few that are in the warehouse and just coming to the floor).  Prices were competitive with the best options out there--certainly the self-absorbed yuppy-matron hangouts, as well as the online put-put-it-together-yourself and we'll charge you for the privilege places. Quality and joinery is excellent--grade A is what it says it is--and it pays to know that what you are looking at is top drawer. Sorry Jen S. had a bad experience--but that wasn't mine.  I thought the pricing was clear; sheets and website matched the floor offering prices; additional discounts started mounting for add-on pieces and bulk shipping; and what's not to like when you have 10 table and 12 chair styles to try out and to sit in.  I live 200  miles from the Bay Area.  Bought  a dozen chairs, table, and about six other things on a Thursday, and sat down to them in my back yard on Monday for lunch--they delivered and set the whole thing up.  See the steamer lounger picture below?  Mine cost $210 at Tom's.  Beat that anywhere--and its not plastic or acacia or some other knockoff pressed pulp.  That's my table in the pictures.  My only existential crisis is this:  when can I amass another bolus of cash and get a weekend free of relaxing and entertaining to head down here to buy more furniture for-----who cares what for!  its great looking stuff, ages gracefully, the seats have lumbar contours that match the best, and your friends will marvel at your taste, acumen in selection, and style when you pour that first glass of chardonnay for them this summer. We bought our teak furniture and umbrella sets from Tom Outdoor furniture during the fall sales. First of all, the quality of their furniture is outstanding. When we compared their teak sets with what we were thinking to buy from Pottery Barns, I would give them an additional star from quality point of view. In addition, Ben who was helping us in the store gave us an outstanding price that we could not find anywhere else. I went to Tom's today in search of patio umbrellas for our backyard.  I had been in the store once before when I was looking at different options for our backyard furniture.  Everyone was friendly and helpful during my first visit and today's experience was the same.  Tom helped us in choosing the right size patio umbrellas for our yard space and was genuinely helpful without any overbearing sales pitch.  I appreciated that and we ended up buying 2 umbrellas and 1 teak side table.  Their workers loaded all the stuff in our car and were very friendly.  Tom even called me to say that we had forgotten our sale receipt at the store and offered to mail it me since we are not local.  Nice experience and all their products seem to be of high quality and a decent value. We found Tom's on Yelp and needing garden seating we visited their showroom. Tom himself greeted us, showed us the teak bench in the size we said we wanted, and then left us alone to consider a purchase. We ended up finding something better than what we had had in mind. It was more expensive but Tom softened the blow by including the cushion in the price. When we got it home we liked it so much we went back the next day and bought another so that we have a pair.It was a fine experience. The showroom is vast with a great selection of outdoor furniture, primarily teak. Prices were reasonable considering the quality. Plenty of parking space. We received help when we needed it but appreciated being left alone with no high pressure salesmanship. We will certainly go back to Tom's if we need something more in the line of outdoor furniture. OUTSTANDING SERVICE - I purchased a teak table with 4 chairs which came with a life-time guarantee many years ago, when Tom's was located on the El Camino Real.  Recently the back of one chair collapsed after years of normal use.  I brought the chair in and the manager offered me a brand new chair for FREE.The chair was over seven years old and had been outside for all this time and I did not think it was fair of me to accept a brand new chair.  So they offered to repair it for no charge.  When I picked up the chair and I handed one of the employees $40.00 and he would not accept it, saying that the store wished to honor its warranty.I can't believe that there are merchants in the Bay Area with so much integrity.   I wish them continued success More...

My husband and I just moved into our first new home so we're super excited to decorate, and furnish our place, but of course we're super strapped for cash. I was so happy when we stumbled upon Tom's and found that we could actually afford TEAK outdoor furniture!!! We were extremely lucky and they were having a sale when we stopped by. We got a teak bench, chair and small table and we feel really good about spending with a local small business. Their staff was courteous, the store was clean and easy to navigate. Great place.  Went by a few times got a lot of help from the staff.  I bought a used 10 foot teak table and we stained it this past weekend after it was delivered.  So far so good!  The whole set is working well.  (The used furniture is slightly used or rented, great deal and you will not notice the difference.  Definettley saved a lot verses new even with 50% for the winter sale.) Trying to find quality outdoor furniture was like looking for a needle in a haystack. Glad we found Tom's. After looking for several months and only finding outrageously priced furniture, we almost bought a non-teak outdoor table and chairs from Hoot Jenkins for $1000. We decided to keep looking and came across Tom's. They were having a 50% off winter sale on all teak furniture and we stopped in. Once we got inside we were greeted by a lovely sales person, Susie, who was incredibly helpful and patient with us. She directed us to another set of teak furniture outside in the back that was an ADDITIONAL 50% off! The furniture outside had minor cosmetic blemishes that were hardly noticeable. We found a table and chairs that we liked. Susie pointed out the minor imperfections and told us we could put it on hold while they worked on it and then come back to see if we were satisfied. When we came back everything looked great. We purchased the table and chairs and we are thrilled to be proud owners of new teak furniture, at a ridiculously great price. I just had an incredible experience with Tom.  He is incredibly knowledgeable and has refreshing integrity.  His prices are great for the high quality of their products.  I bought a second hand table, which still has his lifetime warranty and he taught me exactly how to clean it up and take care of it with great detail.  He also suggested that I buy accessories elsewhere based on what I wanted.  I may not every have to buy another patio set again from him because I believe his table will last but I hope others but from him lots! Tom's Outdoor Furniture offers great Teak Furniture at super reasonable prices. Their customer service can not be beat. I work for a school where we bought two outdoor tables a few years ago, and not having our records from a few years ago, was unsure how we were going to match what we had bought to purchase more tables and chairs. I sent Susie at Tom's a photo of our table and chairs and she was able to match it perfectly, as well as pull up our old order from years ago. On top of this, the company gave us a nice discount for buying multiple tables and chairs for our campus. Superb service.  Competitive pricing.  High quality outdoor furniture with plethora of options.  And they back it up with a lifetime guarantee. I can speak volumes for the service that we received.  Mary is a true customer advocate.  She will not be happy until you are happy with your furniture.  She spent inordinate amount of time helping me piece together an outdoor furniture collection.  She went the extra mile in making sure it was delivered ahead of schedule.  I also met Tom, and he is very nice gentlemen and helpful as well.  Everyone I've worked with here has been super helpful. Pricing is much better than some of the high end name brand outdoor furniture specialists.  We were very close to buying Glouster from Pool Patio and More but they were more expensive, only provide manufacturer's limited warranty and frankly they don't seem to care much.  I highly recommed making Tom's your first and only stop to purchasing outdoor furniture.  Save yourself the time and hassle, these folks are A+. Went by today to check out their selection and pricing. They're very competitive in pricing and the selection and quality of the the furniture is superior. Level of service was just right....not pushy....helpful, answered questions, very knowledgeable about their products,and leave you alone to explore and sit on the large inventory of outdoor lounges and chairs. Good selection of cushions, and you can special order the fabric/patterns of your choice. Delivery time for special order items is reasonable. A friend told us about Tom's Outdoor Furniture and recommended it for high quality products.  We went up there during their half-price sale at the end of November.  We were surprised at the substantial construction of the furniture, high quality of the construction, and variety of variations of different styles.  We tried on benches and chairs and finally settled on one model of bench to purchase.  We preferred to try the furnishings without the cushions also available, to get the most comfortable for us.We looked outside and found additional discounts on a limited number of other items, several of which we also liked.  We put a table and chair aside to add to the collection.  Finally, we called our daughter to see if they were interested in some items at these attractive prices.  The list grew by four folding chairs, two with optional arms, to go with the table.We enjoyed the friendly, supportive, low-pressure staff who helped us make our best choices.  They were very informative.  Tom, the President/Owner was also there, and he helped provide information as we shopped.  We thoroughly enjoyed our visit, drove away with some of our purchases, and came back the next day to pick up the rest.Comparing the items we took home with the ancient pieces they replaced, we were again impressed with the quality of the work they do at that location and felt we'd made really good choices.  Highly recommended. After shopping around, we bought our outdoor set here in 2008.  We were attracted by the apparent quality of the furniture compared to other places, and the sales staff were helpful without being pushy.  They also promised support after the sale.  Easy to say - would it come true?Support #1: they linked us up with some great guys who sanded and re-oiled our furniture after the sun had done its thing (as was expected for teak).  Support #2 (today): Our umbrella had faded over the years, and we called them to find out what could be done.  They said "Bring it in and we'll have a look."  So we did.  30 minutes later we walked out with a new cover for the umbrella - apparently there was a manufacturer's defect in the material for our umbrella.  Tom spotted this and personally made the exchange on the spot.  No hassle, just helpfulness.Wouldn't it be great if all businesses were like Tom's?
