My son had a wonderful time meeting all the mini donkeys. Tollen farm is a wonderful place. There is a farm store and Tonie has been breeding these beautiful animals for over 20 years!

We visited today with our grandkids. My grandson said it was better than going to Disneyland! Such a wonderful little farm. The donkeys are adorable. The owner took us on a great tour to see donkeys, a llama, horses and 2 baby donkeys. One of the donkeys managed to “steal” my grandson’s stuffed animal donkey from his backpack. It was so funny! (We got it back). Please visit this farm, you will love it. And be sure to donate to the carrot fund jar in the gift shop! Thank you for a wonderful day ❤️ More...

Great place to visit with kids! Our 2yr old was a bit frightened by the loud braying but he enjoyed the visit & checking out all the cool things in the little shop. Thanks Tonie for allowing us to visit midweek! We appreciated it so much! More...

Enjoyed our afternoon here on a day our girls had a short day at school. The donkeys are so friendly and love kids. We enjoyed feeding them a few apples off the tree and petting them to our heart’s content. We also got to see horses, chickens and a lama on our visit. Miss Tonie was so sweet with our girls (kindergarten-grade 3) and we all learned a lot. She’s got some neat stuff in her farm store as well, little hidden gems. Thank you for sharing your beautiful property and farm with us all. We will be back! Sincerely, your neighbors from across the street! More...

It's a real work of love and good feeling with endless things to peruse in an honest to god vintage farm with wonderful outbuildings and many endearing farm animals eager for attention. Toni herself is a gracious and hard-working country hostess only too pleased to show people her lovingly built world of exceptional antiques, animals and much story-telling about it all. It's a great place for a family outing. I have watched Toni build the Tollen Farm for thirty years and have taken great pleasure in seeing it become the event it is. More...

Fantastic, well worth the visit. The owner, Tonie, is a very pleasant and accommodating lady. We toured the grounds and became acquainted with the Mediterranean donkeys which are quite friendly and almost follow you like a large size dog! Left with a greater knowledge of the history of these animals and those horses she has rescued. Toni allowed us to pick our choice of figs and apples from her trees that were full at a very fair price. She has a small building that has many curios and gift items. More...

Took my kids today to Tollen's Farm and had a wonderful time. Tonie took the time to walk us around and introduce us to all the animals, explaining everything and answering every question my children had! Her little shop has so many cute items and antiques as well. A nice change from the commercialized world we live in. Highly recommend visiting! More...

Had a wonderful visit to Tollen Farm recently. I had no idea we had such a treasure across the street from Villebois! We got to visit and pet the donkeys and horses. We could see the sheep and llama. She has the most amazing yard with plants, vintage yard decor, pots...etc for sale. The indoor shop is packed with treasures and a TON of really nice, gently used high quality cowboy boots in all sizes. I feel blessed to live in this community and be surrounded by nature and farms! This place is enchanting. The owner has the most beautiful collection of antiques displayed in just the perfect shabby chic/rustic way. She has been collecting them over many years. Her garden is lushly overgrown. Also, we met the donkeys and discovered that three of them are expecting! We will be back. More...

Tollen Farm is a hidden gem! We were looking for a spot near wine country to stop off and show our daughter some animals on the way to an afternoon at the vineyards with family from out of town and came across this place. It's super easy to get to from the Portland area. When we arrived, we were greeted by Toni's two large and friendly dogs and then Toni came out to give us a personal tour of the farm and all of its wonderful animals. She has a ton of great donkeys (each with their own story!), four beautiful Arabian horses, at least one llama (there might be more, but we only saw the one), two ewes and six baby lambs who were just three weeks old when we visited (on 5/4) and amazingly cute. The animals were friendly and our sixteen month old daughter absolutely loved the experience. I would highly recommend it for kids of all ages. The property itself itself is beautiful and has some nice views. There were some huge birds flying overhead while we were there and Toni mentioned that two Bald Eagles live in the area and are frequently visible. There's a 300 year old oak tree, kiwi vines, a 40 year old wisteria, and an assortment of other plants spread throughout the many garden areas. All of the gardens are full of eclectic household knick knacks and functional decor (planters, wrought iron trellises, garden furniture, etc.), most of which are for sale. There are plants for sale too. Toni also has a small building set up as a garden shop (which includes a fabulous collection of vintage cowboy boots and all kinds of handmade goodies from around the world) and another small shed with even more things to check out. Most of all, she is incredibly warm, friendly, and passionate about her farm and garden. My mom was with us and went on and on about the farm and the whimsical garden all day long. There is really something for everyone here. Highly recommend it for families, gardeners, animals enthusiasts, and anyone looking for a fun time near Portland. Check it out! More...
