Lark and Owl Booksellers is a magical place. Everyone is so helpful and so nice. I love walking in and seeing the specific titles that they have carefully curated. And the gift ideas!! There are definitely unique items to be discovered. My husband and I started our date night here recently and it was really fun. We live for bookstores that are personable and local. They did not disappoint. I cannot recommend this little gem enough. More...

Every time I come to this bookstore, I feel like I belong there. The staff is exceptional and the food at the bistro is to die for! One thing I would recommend is more book signings/Author Q&A’s! I know where I will be spending all of my time once this pandemic is over. More...

What a great store! I just wish they had opened before we moved away. Wonderful selection of books, lots of depth to their choices. Great, interesting gift items too. The bistro looked really nice, alas, I didn’t have time to try it. The staff is very knowledgeable and friendly. What a perfect addition to Georgetown. I will be sure to make this a stop whenever we come back to visit. Kudos to the team that put this together, your vision was perfect❤️ More...

This bookstore has everything! A fantastic, eclectic selection of books and unique gifts (featuring some local artists as well). Plus it's a fun hang-out, with trivia nights, a children's storytime, author events, and excellent garden-fresh food at the Bistro. Every experience I've had here so far has been positive. The owners went out of their way to answer abstract questions about literature, the coffee shop manager introduced herself and asked me about my coffee, one of the book sellers texted her husband to help me find a great horror novel, and another book seller busted my chops for not knowing a classic Otis Redding song (and rightly so). Even the occasional interaction with another customer has been one of kindness and community. Beyond that, the coffee is great, the food is great, and the socks are a little sweary. I can't wait to go back. More...

Can’t recommend this stellar local business enough-What they’ve created and brought to Georgetown is immeasurable. They have an incredibly friendly team with heart, boutique quality gifts, impressive reads, and now a bistro and bar too! It doesn’t get better than this.
