Your pictures are more than I can explain. I know I’ve told you a bunch of times, but I THOUGHT the session you did for my family on our “special spot” on the farm meant the world to me, but I never knew how much it could truly mean. That summer we spent going back there almost every evening as a family was a season that held the most love and pure fun for my family, and I wanted it captured like only you can to remember that time in our lives. Now, in a more difficult season after Mark’s accident, I find myself going back through those images from that session last summer and it fills my heart with joy as I remember everything about that season, and with hope that some day soon we will be back there doing what we love as a family in the sun, again. What’s the secret to taking a great photograph?
It's not so much about the paticular image, but about capturing the moment. During family sessions I take more of a documentary style approach. I love to capture your family just being you. I do more posing when it comes to newborn sessions, which is a fun, relaxing session for mom and dad.
What inspired you to start your own business?
My own four children. It just kind of took off years ago, and my love for it grew.
