About

The entertainer you hire is responsible for 80% of the success or failure of your reception. And these days, "entertainer" refers to many things. We understand the art of a good party. It's a delicate mix of coordinating and timing, a keen ear and a watchful eye.

These guys were great! The owner Rick walked me through every step, and was willing to add any songs I wanted (if he couldn't find them, he allowed me to send them to him). He got the names of everyone in the wedding party for introductions and accommodated all of my special requests. The DJ who actually worked at our reception was very pleasant and professional and did a great job, and even managed to find a Lindsey Stirling song to play during dinner.
I thought a having a professional DJ wasn't real important, but let me tell you, it is! I would have been lost!

Many thanks to Mark, who was our party DJ! He kept the party going, played all the songs that we wanted (kept the ones we didn't want off the list), was great with our guests, and even got my 90-year old grandma on the dancefloor! I highly recommend them for your event! More...

Rick with Times of Your Life Entertainment was the DJ for our reception and he did a fantastic job. I was nervous about whether people would dance as we didn't have a large number of young people at our wedding; Rick made sure to encourage the participation of all our guests and there were numerous times we overflowed the dance floor. On the night of our wedding, the resort we had the reception at also had another wedding reception going on next to us in the adjoining ballroom. One of the guests from the other reception mentioned how much fun it sounded like we were all having and that's due to Rick and his ability to encourage guest involvement. Many of our guests commented on how great Rick was. The lighting was fantastic and definitely added a special element to the room. We couldn't have been more pleased with Rick and Times of Your Life Entertainment! More...

Rick did a wonderful job. We were 30 minutes late to the reception, and just like the other bride, he gave me the time I needed to freshen up before we did our big entrance. Very flexible and willing to go with the flow of the day and reception.

The day was a blast - we didn't get to do everything on the agenda because we were late. The "Shoe Game" was a blast, and yes, the guests LOVED it. Rick also picked up on our crowd's vibe - we were kind of slow dance/low key (lots of middle aged guests, married guests, not many young singles that wanted to party hard) and he played the kind of music that appealed to our reception. Very professional transitions from activity to activity such as cake cutting, toasts, dances, etc.

If I could go back (and Rick warned us in advance - so take his advice) I would have gone with the 5 hour plan instead of the 4 because you never know if you're going to be late to your own party! I would definitely choose Rick again, and recommend him to any bride to work with him.

I thought Rick did a wonderful job! We didnt get to do all that was planned, however, my wedding party was 30 mins late getting to the reception. And even after being late, when asked if i could go freshen up for pictures, he didnt even hesitate to let me go. My groom was constantly elsewhere when Rick would announce for us, and he never lost his patience. Some of my guests complained about the music, but my groom and i had a good time and thats all that matters! More...

We had the best day of our lives and it was because Rick and his staff cared so much.
The holidays were upon us and our wedding could not be more perfect. Rick had everything under control from the moment we arrived until we had our farewells. The light show motivated everyone. He managed to get everyone up and excited. From young adult to seniors, the music selection was perfect.
Rick guided us through all of our traditional segments without a flaw.
We really had the Time of Our Lives.
