Whether you are looking to start being active, gain some muscle or strength training, weight loss, or anything else, Renegade Personal Training and Fitness is the place to go. The personalized individual training (which I recommend) is great no matter which trainer you work with or if you prefer to take the boot camp classes with other people who just want to stay active. Either way you'll get whipped into shape. I am one of Ryan's weight loss clients and we have been working on my goals for almost a year and together we have successfully lost almost 90 lbs, but in a healthy and sustainable lifestyle change that I will be able to continue for a long time. We aren't done yet but I know working with Ryan and his team that together we will be successful in getting to my goals for my health and fitness. John has been the catalyst I needed to take my strength training up to the next level. He has a keen knowledge of diet and exercise and can always articulate why he's having me do an exercise and why it's important. I did a "boot camp" last summer here for eight weeks. Their trainers are top notch. I was very impressed at how attentive they were to us, to make sure we did the exercises properly and make sure to stretch before AND after our sessions. I can't say enough good about this workout center. More...

John helped me to gain 10lbs of lean muscle. I was feeling at my weakest because I had not been working out for years, but thanks to John I felt like I had some energy and confidence back in my life. He holds you accountable and truly cares about your goals. He wants to see you succeed. Additionally, I like that he talks to you on an individual level, and you're not just some other client. He really tries to get to know you, and I appreciated that. Sometimes making the decision to workout can be a tough one. You might be afraid of others laughing at you or thinking it's futile that you're even trying. However John is supportive and understanding all the way.

Most people try to lose weight, but I was trying to gain weight since I am technically underweight for a 6' 1" guy. Started off at around 170lbs 15-16% body fat, and ended up at around 183lbs 14-15% body fat. Had to return back to school, but plan on hopefully training more soon.

I hired John as a personal trainer because I needed someone to help me stay on track with diet and exercise. I did a session with him, and I knew he was the one for me. He was professional and always pushed me to make that extra effort. Even if I couldn't do it, he was supportive and optimistic about me getting it next time. John will help you achieve your goals by giving you a detailed plan about what he expects from you. I had been into fitness for a long time, but was looking for a challenge and someone who could really help me with my specific goals. I had also been in a bad car accident that affected my form and balance and I was really excited with the fact that John focused on those issues prior to just jumping into a workout. He took the time to get to know my pain points and where I wanted to improve my health and fitness.

I saw so much progress even in the first few weeks! And I loved the variety of the program John put together for me. He kept the workouts fun and exciting, yet still challenged me. Though I had to take a break from our sessions for the time being, he would be the first person I'd call to start up personal training again.

I used to be really into fitness but then I stopped for about 2 years just due to laziness. I began looking for a trainer online and found him. I was hesitant to do something from thumbtack, but I wasn't disappointed at all. He really pushed me to get back into the swing of things. He really does want you to succeed and he pushes you. If your looking for a fun and challenging place to do personal training or fitness classes, Renegade is the place to go! After having a baby in August, I wanted to get back in shape and be fit! The trainers are very knowledgeable on fitness and nutrition! In just a couple months I have gotten stronger than I have ever been and have learned how nutrition fits in with my lifting and cardio. I have always been a runner and really enjoyed it, but now I love weight lifting with a trainer that pushes me.
