I had to place an order from Chicago for someone who just had a baby in Gilbert, AZ and I prefer to work with locally owned businesses so I do my digging (i. e. reading reviews, looking at customer pictures, etc.), Thistle and Bloom instilled confidence after doing some research. I placed my order and was contacted shortly thereafter with stuffed animal options as the owner offered more than their site did and it felt like she really cared about my order from 1500 miles away. The arrangement was orchestrated and delivered with a dinosaur the same day, without question. I received a picture of the arrangement itself and it was absolutely stunning. I recently ordered flowers for my granddaughter‘s 16th birthday. I purposely try to call a local florist instead of ordering flowers online, Most florist will tell you that you will get better flowers and more of them if you call them personally rather than using the Internet, this prove to be wrong with Thistles and Bloom. I asked my son to send me a picture of the flowers as I live in Wisconsin and wanted to know what they look like, I was so disappointed. The total price of the arrangement was $70.02 out the door. It had 3 roses, two snapdragons, some thistle and a couple of other small things in a mason jar. It did not look like a $50 arrangement. I planned on ordering flowers for my son’s wife’s birthday at the end of the month, there’s no way I will order from this florist again, this look like a total rip off and a big disappointment. My son was shocked when I told him the whole thing cost $70 he said no way it was it worth it. He lives very close in the neighborhood so word-of-mouth goes around very quickly when people aren’t satisfied . I thought this review would go under my name, Lynne Kilian, not Ben Meyers, sorry about that.My original review was only one star. I’m revising the review to 5 stars as they went out of their way to send another arrangement with more flowers and a nicer vase. My son said the second one was much nicer than the first. It’s nice to work with a store that will try to make a happy customer. I didn’t expect them to go to such lengths to make a satisfied customer. She was out of town when they tried to deliver and they reached out to her to arrange a time for her to receive when she got back in town. I bout flowers from this nice florist shop and i love it. It is run by husband and wife team and they are so amazing. I always like to support local business. And when i want to buy flowers i know where to go. I i recent got flowers for my husband and it was not a bouquet but simple 3 roses and they made it into a beautiful bouquet. I love the personal touch that they do for every customer. Definitely and highly recommend this place for any beautiful and special occasion. They do delivery too. The price is affordable. First time in and we’ll be returning to the store. My husband called to tell me how great the customer service was when he visited with my son this morning. Our 8 year olds been saving this bracelet from a Cancer walk he did at school for a local lady fighting stage 4 metastatic cancer. Have gotten flowers here a few times. They are always beautiful. I did have one time that they didn't last as long as the price tag means they should last. Owner was really gracious and made the situation right. Have also used their delivery service and they arrived on time and looking good. Would definitely recommend this florist for any flower needs in Chandler/Gilbert but be prepared for a little sticker shock. If you want cheap flowers go to Fry's. If you is any elegant well put together flowers the ladies in your life will love and post all over social media go to Thistle and Bloom. More...
