Excellent peace of mind and kindness. We have used This Lil Dog of Mine for years. Mark perfection as a business owner, and Candace is perfection as a dog-sitter (AKA Bonnie's best friend). I'm sure people have mentioned punctuality, perfect feeding and medicine, and lots of love and updates. Recently, though, Bonnie needed some extra help and we were hours away on a Sunday. She had a medical emergency, and Candace took note of her physical symptoms and concerning behavior and sprung into action. She worked with us, Mark at the office, and the emergency vet to get Bonnie the care she needed. This level of knowledge and organization–along with her calmness under pressure–not only Bonnie but kept me from freaking out on the way home. I should also note, that they are such an excellent team, that they did not miss a beat with any other dogs either. Every dog is in good hands with these guys. Mark and This Lil Dog of Mine deserve all the highest ratings across the board. We have been using their services for about 3 years and love it. Our dog is anxious around new people and takes a while to warm up. Mark was so patient and accommodating of her and all our requests. I cant speak highly enough of Mark and his services! We have 2 pups and 2 cats. We've tried several other pet services and have always been left feeling uneasy, a bit worried, and anxious about them staying at other people's houses. So, after reading the lovely reviews about This Lil Dog of Mine, we decided to try their in home services. We were not disappointed at all! Mark was extremely thorough, very detailed, on time, he listened carefully to instructions, asked important questions, and treated our pets and home as if they were his own. He even cleaned the litter box, swept up loose litter droppings, and mopped up muddy dog paw tracks on our floor. This was my first time using TLDOM and we had a wonderful experience! There is a good reason this business has so many 5 star reviews. Mark was communicative, on time, and you can tell that he absolutely loves animals! He walked our large dogs (Siberian Husky & Chow/GSD mix) for several consecutive days and we looked forward to his daily reports & photos in the portal. Mark and his team have been our go-to dog sitters for the last 3 years and we couldn't imagine using anyone else! They love our dogs as much as we do and they go the extra mile! Recently one of our dogs became sick while we were out of town and Mark swung into action, taking her to our vet once he notified us of her situation. These guys are fabulous. They are very professional. They send prompt updates if they’re running late or anything like that. They send you lots of photos of your pet being cared for. So glad I found these guys! They were really easy to work with. I was out of town for two weeks and my husband was leaving town before I returned home, so we had to coordinate transportation for our two dogs from home to the kennel. I have had a great experience with This Lil Dog of Mine service. I have had them walk our puppy over 40 visits so I feel prepared to give a fair review. Our pet specialist/walker is primarily Faith. I got to meet her and introduce her to my puppy before his first walk. She is very kind and I can tell she loves dogs. When Faith isn't able to come, Mark has filled in and he's fantastic as well. Because they have a Phone app, I am able to get instant updates on the walks, a GPS map of the route as well as many pictures from the visit. They always make sure that the water bowl is filled and even bring in packages that are at the door when they arrive. Being at work and away from my puppy for many hours in the day, I feel confident and reassured that he is in good hands when they come to take him for walks. I was so worried about who could watch my dog Roxie while I was away on a week long cruise back on July 2019. I scheduled service a few days prior to my cruise. The first meet and greet with Mark and Javeeta was good! Roxie was ready to play with them instantly! I knew then I had no worries while I was away on vacation. I loved the updates and pictures. This Lil dog of mine has been absolutely wonderful! We only used them for a short time because my work schedule changed and we no longer needed them but in the time using them they were great! This 'lil Dog of Mine has been an absolute lifesaver to me! I have a 16 year old dog and 6 year old dog who require different needs. Their care is time consuming and requires patiences. JaVetta and Mark care for them as if they were their own. My schedule changes weekly and they are always accommodating and I love the daily reports. Knowing my dogs are cared for in the same way I care for them gives me piece of mind to focus on work and take care of business. When I come home, they are calm and happy. Mark and his team our great! I had an international flight scheduled and was unable to take my mini poodle to the pet hotel at the last minute. After calling other so-called pet taxi services, I found Mark. He immediately agreed to take my dog for me. The price was reasonable and to my surprise, my poodle jumped into Mark's car and was his wingman all the way to the hotel!  Mark sent me photos of "my boy"sitting in the passenger seat and notified me when they arrived. We were very nervous about giving not only keys to our home, but the lives of our furry babies into the hands of anyone, however Katherine was absolutely wonderful from first meeting us, and instantly laid our worries to rest. 3 days away and when we got home it was to happy pets and a home that was just as we left it. We had just moved to Austin from the country and had to go out of town and could not take our littles. After researching pet sitting businesses I landed with This Lil’ Dog of Mine, and I am so happy I did. Nan did a FANTASTIC job watching our pups and fish. I received texts, along with daily emails with pictures and information about our dogs. Nan went out of her way to watch our dogs. Our little Dachshund needed a nail trim and she trimmed the nails. Mark and I discussed what was the normal routine for our pups and he recommended services that would maintain that while we were away. In the past we would bring them to a friend's house or use a kenneling service, but as we get more pets it has become too much to ask for and expensive.When we returned for the first trip, there was a noticeable difference in the pets behavior and anxiety level. They were very relaxed and seemed as though we had just been out to the store, even though we had been away 4 days. One of my dogs has pretty high separation anxiety so this was a huge relief for us. Where do I begin explaining how grateful I am for this team? I moved to Austin from Dallas about 4 months ago and had been doing research for a small, local dog sitting service even before then. Mark and JaVetta checked all the boxes for my frenchie, Fitzgerald, and I. JaVetta doesn't just walk and feed Fitz lunch every day...she does so much more. She treats him like he's her own and does a fantastic job of putting up with a super involved dog mum like me I just got back from a week long trip during which time JaVetta stayed with Fitzgerald. I recently moved to Austin and finding dog sitting was a top priority as we travel quite a bit. I have been very happy and impressed so far. Mark is very responsive with any questions I have had. We have a tough pup to take care of because she is not friendly with other dogs. We had some horrible experiences with other apps not treating our dog right. As a pet parent I'm sure people can imagine there isn't a more deflating call than from your pet sitting on the first day of vacation telling you they have to take your dog to the vet because they got into it with another dog. I can't thank Mark and his team  for taking care of my guinea pigs. I know it may seem strange, but they do need to be checked in on daily and they have been taken care of wonderfully. They were happy to take us on as a client and we have stayed with them as give wonderful updates with pictures and a message everytime they visit.The regular gentleman that comes over to check on them has been determined to make friends (they are very picky about people and tend to just hide) whenever they see a human or get spooked. He doesn't just come over and place food in their cage and give them fresh water, but actually has taken the time and has befriended one.
