The Upper Room wasnt just a place I had my wedding at. Steve was very knowledgeable about weddings and like another review said, I also didnt know what I was doing lol, everything I needed etc. But Steve was there to help and reccomend other affordable vendors when I was short chairs. He was also flexible when I wanted to use the space the night before to have a rehearsal and helped us with the process. More...

Steve was amazing to work with. He is very knowledgeable about weddings and what works best. I had no idea what I was doing and he was very patient with us. And made the whole process so much easier. My daughter got to have the wedding of her dreams. Loved the venue even though we weren’t able to use the roof because we had a tropical storm come through! We had our wedding at the Upper Room Oct 12th 2019. I can not say enough good things about how wonderful and accommodating Steve and the staff were. The grand ballroom and rooftop both serve as a perfect backdrop for whatever occasion. Steve will do whatever he can to make things happen the way you want. Steve and Shannon at the upper room are very warm and friendly and gracious. And as Steve says they supply the pallet for us to paint the picture. And what a beautiful pallet they supplied. From our daughters rooftop wedding ceremony, to the roof top cocktail hour, and to the second floor upper room reception everything was flawless. Steve went above and beyond to put our minds at rest to assure us that everything would fit just perfectly the way we wanted it, he worked diligently to find a place to have our daughters photo montage.The entire facility is very clean and cleaned between each event you feel as if you are thei only customer, red carpet treatment. I highly recommend the upper room the Greenville for anyone looking to have an event at a beautiful retro chic environment in downtown Greenville South Carolina.
