He played clean music, did a very goo job mixing in varieties, kept the party going, was involved appropriately, and factored in music choices of the bride and the groom. I can not say enough about how wonder of a job The Todd Everett Experience did with my party. My DJ was James and he was AMAZING! He had me dancing from the time I got there 40 minutes before the party started until the last box was removed at the end of the night. He did such a great job interacting with the crowd, we even shared a dance together and posed for a picture. The flow of the music was so great that some people (including myself) had to ask for a break because you could not leave the dance floor no matter how hard you tried! I recommend them to anyone having an event, they picked the perfect name because the service they offer is truly an EXPERIENCE! He met and exceeded our expectations for our wedding on 02.8.19. He kept the schedule that we had discussed prior to the meeting, but was dynamic enough to surprise us with spontaneity during the reception. He is amazing at not only reading the crowd, but also interacting with the guests.There are two "wow" moments that were facilitated by the DJ. They are as follows:1)We could not get my now mother-in-law to dance with her son at our wedding reception. She made every excuse as to why she did not want to, so we had my sister in law dance with my husband. However, DJ Chokes called her up and she danced with my husband. They both cried and cried and I did not know until afterwards that they had never danced together before. This means so much to my mother in law. I am so thankful that Chokes initiated that experience for mother and son. They will never forget it. My mother in law has posted video and pictures of them dancing several times since the wedding.2)During the consultation that I had with Chokes prior to the wedding, he asked me what music my mother liked and I mentioned to him that my parents loved Michael Franks and they used to listen to him all of the time when I was a child. My parents have been divorced for about twenty years and they are amicable, but I wouldn't say they are friends. Chokes called them up, and after the initial shock wore off of my mother's face, my mom and dad walked hand in hand to the dance floor. As I danced with my new husband, I watched my parents not only dance together, but they sang the lyrics to the song as they danced. I have never seen my parents dance together. I will never forget that moment.Needless to say, Chokes is now my go-to DJ. DO NOT HESITATE TO INVEST IN HIS SERVICES FOR YOUR EVENT. Todd was a great DJ! He was very professional and easy to work with from start to finish. My family is Chaldean and my mom also wanted a DJ to specifically play Arabic/Chaldean music. He was very accommodating with this request, and even allowed the other DJ to hook his system up to his speakers so that the set-up was not so cluttered. Todd was the best! He took time to really get to know what me and my husband wanted for our ceremony and reception and did just that. The guest had a blast from beginning to the end. No one has reached out to me to say how beautiful the centerpieces were (although they were nice) or how pretty the cake was (although it was beautiful). Todd made our wedding an absolute night to remember. When we initially booked with Todd, people asked who’s the DJ? I’ve never heard of him. But by the end of the night everyone knew his name and couldn’t stop talking about him. He went above and beyond every single expectation we had. The way he interacted with our guests was remarkable. I honesty don’t think the dance floor cleared for even a second. He made sure everything flowed perfectly and never missed a beat...I mean he literally did not. DJ O'Steen through the Todd Everett Experience was recommended to me by a friend. I am so glad i took his advice! It was more than an experience from the beginning! Our First meeting was great! Our Second meeting to finalize everything was great and our actual wedding night was even better! It was so good that we had people from the wedding next door on our dance floor! Todd was exactly what we were looking for and so much more! Todd is more than just a top-notch DJ. He was the catalyst of our reception. He kept things on pace all night. We met with Todd in-person twice before the wedding to put everything together. He gathers a lot of detail and puts together a PARTY! We had one of the coolest, unique and hype entrances I’ve seen at a wedding. He knows how to get everyone involved. It really started the night off with a bang and set the tone! We received dozens compliments on it, the music and Todd himself! The dance floor was packed all night. We had a very diverse crowd and it was stuff for everyone! Todd came out and partied with us at times and everyone really loved it. For a person who is deeply passionate about music, I feel a DJ and the music can make or break a reception from a guests perspective. It couldn’t have been better!
