Sara is awesome. Â She takes my dog out on play dates, and on trips with her. Â Sometimes those trips are to coffee shops, sometimes dog parks or play dates. Â While a reviewer below was unhappy with this arrangement, I think it is just fine. Â There may be times when she has Zoe out for less time, or at different times, but there are other times when she has her out for 3 times as long as I pay her. Â Zoe is getting all sorts of socialization and activity to stimulate her. Â Walks are great, but I like that Sara treats it more like camp for dogs. More...

There is no other person in Austin to take amazing care of your lovely little pets. They are safe in Sara Livermore's hands. I trust her with my pup. Lola is old and needs special attention. The smiling dog has never disappointed me. I hear tons of local austinites say that she is the best! I found out for myself.  Me and Lola  love her. Best dog whisperer you'll meet. She's fun, loving, and respected in the Austin pets alive community among many others. If you want your furry friend to feel showered with love, then she's your girl. Smiling Dog Petsitters. Sara is the best. We’ve been using her for a few years now. She was a blessing with our older, very stubborn bulldog - Nigel. When he refused to go to doggie daycare and kennel, Sara stayed with him, took care of him and nursed him if needed. He had the very best care. Sara is also great with puppies. We’ve had two now that Sara walks, sits and cares for. She’s helped with puppy meds and potty training. Sara has quickly become an extension of our family. We don’t know what we’d do without her. Sara is great. She really cares about the dogs she watches, and she's gone above and beyond for mine. I hate leaving my fur babies, but I at least have peace of mind and know they're in good hands with Sara.

In a town where EVERYONE has a dog and EVERYONE is on the go, it is so important to have a high quality selection of responsible, professional, and dependable pet sitters and dog walkers. For me and my family, there isn't anyone else I would trust more to take care of our fur baby. Sara is just pure joy. I'm pretty sure she is more dog than human. She is extremely responsive to my needs, she is super flexible, and most importantly, she truly loves her job. Sara is great. I call her every time I have to leave town. I have 6 dogs, ranging in size from 11 to 75 pounds, and she is terrific with all of them, even my defensive Chow mix. She gives them their medications, feeds them, walks them, and plays with them.When I come home my house is in good shape and so are my dogs. She's even made extra visits when I was away and Google Fiber came to install lines and were concerned about the dogs being in the yard (I have a dog door). My dogs heart the Smiling Dog and are certainly smiling after their "dates" with Sara!Sara is the first, and only, non-family member I have ever entrusted with my dogs. Â She's equally amazing with my difficult little evil genius as she is with my happy go lucky clown and didn't mind one bit that we had to do a multistep and somewhat complex introduction process for our evil beast to trust her. Â She also takes it in stride when we have a surprise extra foster pup around or have special requests like medicating our dogs or taking them for special outings to the park etc. We've sung her praises so much that several other families in our neighborhood now use Sara too and all of us cannot say enough how much we adore Sara and how pleased we are to have found her service!! We have been using Sara for about 2 years now to keep our babies while we travel to areas where they are not so pet friendly or for whatever reason they cant join us. She is always so sweet and personable. She will sometimes take our little guy out on coffee dates with her and even sends us pics of them all having a great time while we are away. Our dogs love her. She has a rapid response time when we text inquiring about our babies and always makes us feel like our dogs are in great hands. Makes traveling easy and allows us to focus on our travel at hand. keeps worrying to a minimum. We wont  use anyone else....Thanks Sara!!!! Woof Woof More...

We've used The Smiling Dog to pet sit for our dogs every time we've gone out of town for the last few years. Always awesome, the dogs love 'em, and they're super dependable. Sara is great to deal with, has a lot of fun with the pets, and is professional when being professional counts.
