After passing this place numerous times, I finally dropped in. I thought it was a burger place or seafood place so I never stopped. Some of the tastiest food that I have ever had and that's not hyperbole. I've only eaten there once and will be returning often. After this meal, I swore off all fast food and most chain restaurants. Great food. I asked my waitress to make my catfish blackened instead of fried. They knocked it out of the park. It says something about a restaurant when they can not only ace the dishes on the menu but also ace off menu requests. Also our server was attentive.. she was top notch. In a hurry running around yesterday when I realized I was starving n only 3mins from The Shack. Thought I’d pop in for a soup n salad to go. Awesome bartender recommended the Reuben Sandwich and it was SUPERB! And the “Soup or No Soup for You” was Chicken (Tortilla) Soup for my soul! We love dining at this unique Covington restaurant. We like to try something different every time we dine there. Every meal has been absolutely delicious and different in a good way!
