Incredible place! My friend and the lamb which was awesome and others got the trout which they loved. We had Sharon as a waitress who was one of the best I can remember having! Incredible service!

Words cannot explain how grateful I am to the staff at Mustang. My family had just gotten into town and we headed to Mustang for a late dinner. We ordered drinks which came promptly, ordered dinner, and did a cheers to celebrate being together on a short vacation. Shortly after my dad hunched over in his chair and was unresponsive. He was not breathing at times and was completely unresponsive for about 10 minutes. While we talked to 911 and responded, the staff was right there, helping us. On cue they assisted with compression. My dad came right before the ambulance arrived and took him away. The whole time the staff remained calm, helpful, concerned, and every other trait you might imagine you would need when a close family member is having a near death experience. My dad is fine now. I am so thankful to this staff. They not only did not charge us for the dinner we ordered but they did not even charge us for the drinks that were served. They truly cared about his well being only and I'm sure sacrificed quite a bit of good service to other customers during this time. I have never encountered such support and service and kindness from people that none of us knew. I wish I could comment on the food, but obviously we were off the the ER, so I can only comment that it looked and smelled phenomenal and our neighboring table was raving about all the dishes when we inquired about what to order. Wow, if you're looking for a nice, delicious meal with great service, you must stop here. The menu is so wide ranging and the portion sizes are worth every bit of your money -- each dish has some type of accompaniment on the side or underneath that makes it feel like you're getting a side and not just a plain entree. They also have a pretty long cocktail list that covers something for everyone's liking as well as a great selection of wines. Jumping right into the entrees, their most popular dish is the Elk Chop ($61). Since Elk is so lean, the flavors in this dish are really nice with the pistachio, mustard jus, and brussels sprouts with bacon and butternut squash. This chop is huge, so you better be hungry! Another huge item is their Chipotle BBQ Ribs ($44), which is lathered with chipotle orange bbq sauce and accompanied by a generous watermelon feta salad and two slices of pasilla pepper quesadilla. This dish is enough to share or freed a very very hungry man. My favorite is the Duck A La Orange ($47). The duck is marinated in mandarin orange with Chinese spices, and accompanied with a delicious poached pear and Yukon gold potatoes stuffed with purple sweet potato (a delicious combo!). The bearnaise sauce and grand mariner Demi glacé that comes drizzled on the plate is to die for!!!You can't leave without dessert, so why not go big? Get the chocolate soufflé or our favorite: The Double Black Diamond, which is chocolate decadence cake (like a very fudge cake), topped with and hidden under a generous river of Godiva chocolate fudge sauce, two scoops of chocolate ice cream, whipped cream, toasted almonds and coated coffee beans, and some fresh fruit. We truly enjoyed our Christmas day dinner at the Mustang! Wonderful modern but cozy atmosphere and tasty cocktails, and the service was impeccable. The elk chop was one of the favorite dishes, as was the filet. By the time they brought out our chocolate soufflé for dessert, we thought we couldn't hardly eat another bite. We stayed close by during the summer and my husband and I really enjoyed the food. Our choices were the the chicken and filet. Nice flavor without being extreme. Sharon took great care of us without being intrusive. The owners were also very friendly. Ended up returning before leaving PC to try the berry cobbler. It was yummy. We were in Deer Valley at the Montage for a business meeting and had a night off so we decided to try this restaurant out. We heard about this from Paul the owner of Norsk leather store. I want to say there are many very nice restaurants in Park City. In fact we ate at many of them. But the Mustang was the best one we ate at! Starting from meeting Ryan who with her husband are the owners. To a great wait staff. And really great tasting and fairly priced food. We had the most amazing dinner last night at The Mustang. We ordered the trout, filet, chicken piccata, chipotle ribs and the Southwestern Duck Chile Relleno for an app. The duck app was a showstopper! It was soooooo good. But everything was fantastic! Just got back from trying The Mustang restaurant for the first time.  They have 4-5 salads they include the typical Caesar salad and Iceberg lettuce salad with blue cheese but they also had a beet salad and a pear salad as well.  The appetizers have mussels and potstickers.  My wife decided to have the filet mignon that came with sweet potato, brussel sprouts and carrots.  I opted for the lamb shank that came with a cauliflower risotto that was very tasty.  Both meats were very tender and the service was good.  Like most of the restaurants on Main the price point is a little high; however, they have quality food.  Also, they also have chocolate soufflé for dessert.  We were too full but our neighbors said it was delicious. Excellent service. Nice white table clothe restaurant , but still a ski town so wear your sweaters and Ugg's and you'll be fine.  Portions were large and filling; great after a day of calorie burning on the slopes. Scallop dish was great although the croissant style bacon cheese thing in middle was def an unhealthy but tasty addition in the middle. The ribs were great and had an amazing watermelon side dish although it seemed an odd accompaniment for the hearty ribs. This was an incredible meal, and most likely one of the most delicious restaurants you will find in Park City. Not for the budget conscious, but if you have some money to burn and a good appetite, you will not regret this. (I think there's a theme in Park City -- I love this place and Riverhorse, so when in doubt, go to the restaurants with horse names.) First of all, the bread came straight from the oven to our table, and no lie, it was some of the most delicious bread I've ever tasted. It was warm, chewy, and had just the perfect amount of sourdough taste. I will dream about this bread.I split the fried goat cheese salad, and we each got a ball of goat cheese that was delicious and enough to spread on the whole salad. The dressing was great, too.I had the lamb shank, which came out looking like a meal fit for a caveman or cavewoman. It was tons of tender meat on a giant bone, and it was so well-flavored, it melted in my mouth. It was on top of a bed of cauliflower risotto, which was super creamy, but didn't have a very strong flavor. Very good comfort food after a day in the snow. I tried my boyfriend's elk, and that was just as good! We also ordered a chocolate souffle, which was rich, creamy and eggy. The Mustang has good food and large selection of wine compared to other restaurant in Park City, The service was good and the waiters were very nice. We ordered a bottle of Malbec that was good and enjoyed the food very much.It would have been a 5 stars if the bill was 20% lower. We had been here before and thought it was good if not great. We were not expecting the food to be as good as it was. We would go back for the duck chile rillenos (which my husband ordered for the table on a lark)  alone, but the foie gras was also ridiculously delicious.  We were all making little moaning sounds.  The steak was superb and the elk chop was perfection.  The service was excellent and cheery, always a plus.  Seriously top notch food. Stayed at Deer Valley resort for some excellent skiing. Went into Park City for dinner at the Mustang. Of course I had checked it out on Yelp prior and used Open Table to make a reservation as suggested. I was with my 17 year old daughter (a real foodie in the making). I ordered a specialty cocktail that had gin with muddled cucumber and basil, it was excellent. We shared the fried goat cheese salad...simple and delicious fresh greans with herlume tomatoes and a delicious ball of goat cheese lightly coated with panko fried to perfection. She had the Chilean Sea Bass and I the Elk Chop...everything was perfect and exceeded expectations. Would have liked to try the chocolate suflet but would have been way too stuffed!! Dinner was great. Scallops pleased my husband. I enjoyed the Chilean Sea Bass so much I almost  licked the plate. Steak was also enjoyed by 2 men in the group. Berry cobbler topped off the evening. It was nice to bring your own bottles of wine and just pay corkage fee. Kept the cost of the evening down by a little, plus the coupon in the local paper helped as well. From the Basilica cocktail to the Chocolate Soufflé, The Mustang did not disappoint!!! The restaurant was beautiful and the exceptional atmosphere was made even better with a lovely table near the fire as the sun set on the patio.  For our meal we split a bit of everything.. the Spinach and Roasted Pear Salad, perfectly tender pears with blue cheese crumbles, almonds and a fabulous roasted pear vinaigrette, the Southwest Duck Chile Relleno, really incredible...(never had anything like this and I'm still craving it a week later), Kobe beef that just melted in the mouth (I'll be posting a picture of), followed by a Pork Chop so tender and flavorful....and then the Chocolate Soufflé..a stunner...light and airy yet rich and decadent.  Service was impeccable, yet so warm and friendly (hard to believe but yes!), presentation was top shelf and with thought to each dish, overall an incredible dining experience!!! One of the best meals I've had in a lonnnnng time. Glazed, charred ribs I highly recommend served with refreshing chunks of watermelon with feta and a crazy delicious kind of quesadilla. Wife had the panko-encrusted lamb special - very impressed - and Mum opted for duck - great, great, great all around. Andres got everything right re: wine. Excellent totally underrated spot. Nice ambience and decor, waiter was helpful but not in your face and the food was just amazing. Shrimp potstickers were good, (nothing overwhelming, but very solid). The halibut and the beef tenderloin were delicious. I would recommend sharing the halibut, it was large with a lot of veggies. The dessert was really the highlight of the meal. The berry cobbler was probably the best cobbler I've ever had, and the soufflé was light and not too rich. More...

This place rocks! Food is incredible and the service was top notch. After looking at some of the bad reviews it seems that the lower star ratings were from minor problems from people who need to complain as much as they need air. Have a great dinner at one of the best restaurants in park city! I recommend the ribs or the chicken piccata. For apps you have to order the chile relleno or the potstickers. We had a great evening here with friends taking advantage of the September 2 for 1 entree deal plus $8 corkage fee for a bottle of Prisoner wine ($39 at the State liquor store). The service was impeccable and we loved the entrees of rack of lamb, ribs and trout.  The ambience in this beautifully appointed restaurant was excellent and on a very rainy evening it was perfect to be able to be less than 100 yards from the Marriott Summit Watch where we are staying. We came here as a party of 6 on Fourth of July. The waitstaff was incredible and attentive-Ryann was our server!
