Event Entertainment

He was great with the kids. Funny and energetic. He floated my daughter, which was really exciting to see. We will definitely use him again.

We had you perform at our corporate party for the kids, and we laughed as hard as they did! Making Santa appear from the box at the end was a big hit and nice transition to him as the star, and you kept the kids waiting in line to meet Santa happy with your balloon sculptures, so it was so much less stress than last year. We'll have you back again I'm sure! Sincerely, Bill Charles More...

Magician

Chris was great! It was my twin grandson's birthday party. He had 6 & 7 year old boys entertained and they were laughing their heads off. They loved the balloon animals and especially swords that he made for all of them. More...

Dude, you were awesome, funny, and did some cool stuff. I wasn't expecting to enjoy a 10 year old's birthday magician show that much. But can you suspend big old me in the air next time instead of my kids, that's the real question I want to know...5 stars to you More...

My first time hiring Christopher was in 2017, he made not only the children laugh and scream while trying to "explain" to him that he was getting mixed up, but he had my husband doubling over in laughter watching his interaction with the kids. It seemed he constantly bounced back and forth making the kids react in amazement one second to making the adults laugh at his responses to the kids a second later. Plus my husband and the rest of the adults had no clue how he floated our son in the air or made the coins appear and disappear in his empty hands. And we thought he brought a live skunk into the house until he let only us adults in on the secret at the end. The way it wiggled in his arms, wagged its tail and tried to run into the audience had us all convinced otherwise lol. Was a lot of fun for all watching, a true pro at what he does! Turns out he did our festival of lights when I was a child, I forgot his name but remembered him floating my cousin. Highly recommended More...

I don't know who had more fun, the kids or the adults watching you interact with the kids and the funny props! And you amazed us adults with the coins and the ropes. Second time we've seen you and you even added some new stuff just for us. Awesome! More...

Q&As

I was age 10 sitting in the audience of the Hopkinton Cub Scout banquet and the magician floated one of the scouts, and I became determined that someday I would also float someone just like him! At 18 I was performing professionally, and I began performing thousands of shows all over NE, I went from being a shy kid, to competing in Toast Masters International contests, WINNING a BOSTON PARENTS PAPER - FAMILY FAVORITE AWARD and performing magic in front of thousands at festivals.

HISTORY Early start 1) Saw a great magician at a scout Banquet caught the Magic Bug. 2)Helped by Awesome Librarians at local libraries find every book on magic in the area . 3) Met my wife and she volunteered to be squished down into the "Sword Basket" where I used 5 swords and climbed in myself to show her vanish! What a trooper!

SHOW DESCRIPTION: ILLUSIONS including: Your child is the star and gets to be SUSPENDED in MID-AIR (see website for pictures) and receives a GIANT 5 foot tall balloon sculpture plus all the other balloon offerings!

In my big show, I can make the guest of honor appear magically (see my VIDEO of the appearing Ariana Illusion...

-A flash of fire as Tigger the Skunk-Rabbit makes his magical appearance and the kids get to pet him!

A few of the many highlights........
-A funny drawing of the birthday child comes alive and talks!
-Quidditch Orbs Float and vanish!

-MINION toys MULTIPLY and mutate in your hand
-Giant Crayons Magically turn topsy turvy while held by a volunteer

Super MARIO, & PEACH appear from a magic Haunted MANSION.

A real egg sits precariously on a volunteer’s head only to hilariously vanish with a surprise reappearance!

A wand DISSOLVES into a RAINBOW of silk handkerchiefs ….

For ages 10 and up - Harry Potters "Gryffindor SWORD" magically passes through a volunteer in a comically scary - tongue in cheek trick (No one gets that scared except me).

A Pre-school volunteer armed with a GIANT SWATTER searches for the elusive MUTANT BUG.
A adult volunteer's ring INVISIBLY TRAVELS to an antique jewelry box, which, upon re-opening falls apart with a CRASH! disclosing the ring's RE-APPEARANCE.

A dance cane DISSOLVES into a RAINBOW of silk handkerchiefs before your eyes…. and much much more! OVER 15 years of making kids laugh and feel special on their birthday!

I get to teach magic to kids at my school, and to adults at night to keep the magic performing arts alive! I love to use my skills as an actor and a magician to get the laughs while at the same time amazing the audience. My goal is that you're so entertained you don't feel like I'm there to try and fool you but rather amaze you and get you to smile all day long thinking about my act that you just witnessed.

I wanted to push myself out of my comfort zone and soon found I was a better and more patient magician than much of my competition. Being from a large family I figured out what kids and parents wanted from an entertainer. I took acting lessons to improve my act. I went from small parties to hundreds of shows where I was performing at corporate parties, school assemblies, grand openings and charitable events. My biggest audience was over 10,000 people in a festival and I was hired back again the following year! I met my wife, and used magic to put myself through a degree in Engineering so I could improve on illusion design. I began also performing for childrens hospitals, underprivileged kids, kids, adults with disabilities and Make A Wish, as a way to give back to the community and make a difference.

With a critical eye on my own show, and over 6000 shows under my belt I have mastered both the magic and the performance aspect. I teach grades 2-3 on a daily basis and have taught from K-Adult so I know how to engage my target audience. What parents and kids like about my show- I'm GENUINE in what I do and I always go above and beyond to leave my audience and my clients feeling like they got a more top notch entertainment than they thought possible without going to the theater.

A) I can keep both the boys and girls engaged for the whole party. MAGIC if done correctly appeals to ALL ages, GENDERS, races. I can customize to fit your party theme. Some acts appeal more towards only one gender - Tea parties, Makeup, Dinosaurs, Football, etc My show is designed to APPEAL TO ALL GENDERS and ages YET is modified to please the target gender for your special boy or girl.

B)They"ll be totally focused and engaged on the fun.. No chaos or running around, just hysterical laughter and screams of "how did you do that!". My show, with balloon sculptures and extras take the stress off the parents and they can just enjoy and take pictures, all you need is the cake .

C) Value for the money. I include party favors in the form of unique balloon sculptures and buttons you can't find in a store. Unlike store favors my balloons and buttons add personalized entertainment to the party action. If you were to supply favors separately you typically spend $5-10 per kid, . I always give more than expected as I want my customers to refer me. I live for referrals. . ..

Additional TESTIMONIALS
"-The kids laughed so hard, and so did we. I don't know how he did the magic, but what's really amazing is the very active group of boys participated for a whole hour and Chris kept them glued to their seats except when he invited them to volunteer on stage!" Heather L. - Sterling, MA

"That was awesome, all I had to do was serve the cake, you kept them entertained the whole time with your amazing magic and the balloon animal party favors. How did you make your pet Peppy appear out of the flash of light I'll never know! Courtney loved being the star at her birthday! Thanks so much!" Betsy V. - Holliston, MA

Suggested but not mandatory, it is recommended that for private parties you double (if mature possibly triple) the age for the max # of guests as the ability of the child to socialize with more at one time is difficult emotionally. i.e age 4, 8 kids, age 7, 12-18 kids. IF you must invite the entire class, I can make everyone feel part of the party taking pressure off your child when he/she wants to mostly hang with best friends, family.
