we just walked out. we sat at a table near the bar in thesand. waited 10 mins we had to find a waitress who told us they didnt serve at those tables. wierd because the table we were at people who were eating just left and the table next to us were just place dtheir order. I asked another waitress and she said we could get served there. waited another 10 minutes. finally we see a waitress and she walked by and didnt say a word. we were there for 25 minutes and not one person. approached us. crappy service to not even say hello . Stopped for a beer and food at 5:30 pm on Sunday. Menus were given by the bartender so we made our choices and when we asked to order we were told kitchens not making anything else today. Only are serving orders taking already….. really? I boated down from spring lake sat at the bar looked at a menu and was turned away? Owner wasn’t present to address either. Hubby & I were looking for good food & outdoor seating w water views & hit The Lake House on Pistakee. My Cobb salad w chicken was a masterpiece - delicious & visually stunning. They even have creamy garlic dressing which i love & rarely see. My hubby enjoyed his burger, prepared as he requested. We enjoyed watching boats & waverunners spending the gorgeous day on the water. There are even 2 large TVs outside. The servers were absolutely hustling over the busy holiday weekend. I wish everyone would extend grace & patience as the service industry is experiencing historic lows in staffing. More...

Food was good and Reasonable, service was as to be expected, like most other places, seemed short staff so was bit of a wait, but they were honest. ...p we met some friends we hadn’t seen in a while so it gave us a chance to catch up. Went by boat, easy to get in and out slips, piers were floating so a bit unstable with nothing to hold onto, I’m sure if you had a few too many, you might go in the drink! Lol! Do recommend! More...

So…we drove 20 minutes to try the grouper and ahi sandwiches. Go figure they were out. Since we already had beers and were hungry we decided to place an order. A grilled cheese with tomato and avocado and another side of tater tots. 50. FIVE-ZERO minutes and still no food. Sorry, this wasn’t a big group nor an order that should have taken nearly this long!! Canceled our order paid for our drinks and now going somewhere we know we will get what we actually want in a timely manner. Won’t be back. More...

We love the food here, but since there has been new ownership they won’t serve at the picnic tables. This is one of the main reasons why were go here- because we have kids and they love the playground. We stopped by on a weeknight after 6pm and it was not busy at all and the bartender refused to serve us at the bar and let us walk our food over to the picnic tables to be with our kids (even though the server was fine with it). She felt like it would overwhelm the kitchen. I’m not sure what the difference is sitting inside versus sitting at the picnic tables but it is what it is. I hope the new owners will reconsider this policy because it was a great place for kids. More...
