I loved the food the service and the old school style. Not expensive I was also impressed there were no obnoxious photos. Then I left via the back why would a business post their NRA certifications. Deal breaker I am not sure.

Italian Kitchen is one of my favorite places to eat on the North Shore. The food and family recipes are AMAZING and the staff is friendly and the owners are always there. The service was a little slow getting drinks started but we had a table of 10 and a few of us in my family are big drinkers. The staff is always warm and accommodating, and my family can be kind of a handful so I always appreciate their patience. Once we got our drinks everything was smooth sailing and soooo yummy. I usually get the chicken tagliatelle with the vodka sauce-my favorite specialty dish that they make there. My boyfriend got the Lobster pasta and that was mouthwatering. We shared the shrimp de jonghe for an app-delicious! This place doesn't look like much on the outside but it is truly a rare gem and so worth checking out! Great prices too and great drinks and wine. My friend lost a family member and I believe food is the best way to comfort anyone. Living out of the area I found Deerfield Italian Kitchen online. Their staff helped me make sure enough food for her family and would delivered it in my budget. When I had to change the order to a day they were closed, John the owner, worked with me to make sure that they still got the food and delivered on time. I'm 35 minutes away and it's by far my favorite Italian Restaurant. If I lived closer I would be there twice a week. Every meal I have there is great. The food is always delicious; the fish is very fresh and delicately prepared. My favorite dishes are the pesto scallops, the crusted fish special, and the handmade tortellacci pasta. John and Emerald are the sweetest people(along with the rest of the team) and you can really taste his passion for cooking in his meals. I'd give this place 10 stars if I could! More...
