I was looking for a place that would handle 30-to 40 out of town guests. We were in town to celebrate my daughter's graduation, in receiving her PharmD degree from Hampton University. It being graduation and Mother's day weekend, all places were booked. I was lucky to find this wonderful place online. The owner created a special menu and the restaurant was set up just for us. What a great place!! I’ve ordered a number of beautiful and delicious cakes from here, every time they have exceeded my expectations. Cookies and cupcakes ate sinfully good too. Love, love Trivia Nights there, and have had some wonderful dinner options....shrimp n grits, flat breads and salads, etc. The food and atmosphere really puts Grey Goose ahead of many other similar places, but their service and caring put them at the top!!! The Grey Goose has been a downtown Hampton staple for many years. Living far, far away in Alaska, I can tell you that I WISH there was such a place like it out here. The food is excellent, the updates and changes are great and the owners truly care about their business and their part in the Hampton community and economy. If you've never been, you won't regret trying it for the first time. My favorite sandwich is the Jiggedy Jog. It never fails to please the palate! The addition of their bakery line to the menu is unmatched in the area. Very nice location very warm and cozy welcoming feeling. There are two servers there by the names of Amanda c and Michelle Clark. They are unbelievable people, there are outgoing always have a smile. BOGO Prime Rib was great, good size piece & flavor. We weren’t aware a band was going to play that particular Fri night. It was too loud for such a small venue. It was too hard to understand the lyrics over the instruments. Not a good sound when you are expecting to have dinner conversation w/ friends. We’ll go back of course, just not on a live music night. Dana and I go way back but this review is from the heart and has input from several first time Goose attendees!
If you haven’t seen the Board Room that they have added you are missing out! I needed a space for a surprise last minute Graduation Party for my daughter. Dana reminded me about the new space and points me to her menu options for catering etc.
The space is GORGEOUS and the FOOD was fabulous!!! Dana even added a few things for my gluten free diet! The prices per person cannot be beat in this area and the amount and quality of the food was perfect for my picky eaters!! If I heard it once I heard it again.....the Grey Goose made this? I Love it!!! Not your Grandma’s Goose folks!!! Perfect space and awesome food!!! Thank you Dana and Phillip!!! Olivia was thrilled and was so surprised!!! She was very thankful we switched up and surprised her with the “Boardroom” venue and menu!!!
I can’t say enough great things about our experience today!!! So keep this in mind the next time you need a venue that’s intimate and elegant...try the Goose...your family just might thank you!! More...

It consisted of a small serving of blue crab soup, half a chicken salad croissant and a beet salad with feta and candied pecans. The Grey Goose is amazing to be such an intimate place. The food is top notch, from fried fish to pork roast, and there’s a substantial vegetarian menu. There is live local music and at least two kinds of brunch: Drag and Sunday. But my favorite thing is Tuesday Night Trivia. The level is Alex Trebekian. Seriously. And have you had the cupcakes? Had a delightful brunch at the Grey Goose on their outdoor patio. Love it when you can get a meal that is nutritious, as well as delicious. The quiche's ingredients include good vegetables and the salad, with the house Italian dressing, is full of flavor. Halfway through my strawberry mimosa, a fly landed in the drink. Everything here is absolutely delicious! The daily lunch menu included a smoked salmon flatbread pizza that was simply to die for. It came with a salad (that made this guy who usually prefers fried potatoes of some sort quite happy) and an amazing cupcake. A Kentucky Bourbon Barrel Ale was a perfect match. We had a wonderful dinner experience last night (11/10/17). We were driving by and saw The Grey Goose and decided to try it. To our surprise it was Bogo on prime rib night and live entertainment. If you want to have an all around enjoyable meal, this is the place to go. I eat here at least 3 times a month, and all of the staff seem to love their job and it shows. You can get anything on the menu made to order, just the way you want it. Dana & Phillip are super friendly and make you feel like the most important customer in the room.
