Waste of money...which is too bad because I had high expectations based on the Yelp reviews I read. The grape leaves taste like the ones I buy at Market Basket and the lamb was tough and there wasn't even much meat. The inside of the grape leaves are all mush. The only good things were the salad, specifically the dressing, and the potatoes were pretty good. Not sure why this place has so many good reviews. I go thru phases when I don't go to this place for awhile and then find myself there 2 times in one week. This is the time where I find myself going when I want to relax for a solo lunch, meet my hubby for a Saturday brunch, or bring home dinner after work. This past Saturday we both had chicken souvlaki and I have to say I haven't had chicken that good. It was perfectly grilled and perfectly cooked. Crispy on the outside perfectly tender on the inside. I love the people who work there as well. The young man who may be the owner is so nice and accommodating. I love Greek food and they do it very well. It's almost like a diner and a perfect place to either sit down or take out. People who don't eat meat can find plenty of foods they can eat. The food here is out freaking standing! The outside has the greek accents, nice. Inside, it is bright and the decor flows with greek themes. I told the gentleman at the register that it was my first time here. He was very nice. I ordered the baked lamb, that came out as two huge lamb shanks. This came with two sides and a salad. I also ordered the village salad, that had big chunks of vegetables. I picked the vegetables and butternut squash purée. The squash was tasty and sweet. Tomatoes, cucumbers and feta cheese with a greek dressing on it. Such a great way to start the meal. It also came with pita bread. I really loved the taste of the food. I also ordered baklava. Didn't try it because I was sooo full. I was able to put away 1 shank by myself. What I ordered cost $42 . This was large enough to share with a friend. There was plenty of parking and easy access to the restaurant, from the side door or the street door. Even though it was snowing, the restaurant was full. I ate here years ago, and haven't been back due to getting a stomach upset. Maybe food poisoning. Today, I was craving Greek food , so decided to go and get take out tonight. I ordered a chicken gyro, which I usually love. My gyro was disgusting. The chicken was greasy pieces of all dark meat, ( I dislike dark meat), there was chicken skin, threw out pieces of fat, very little feta, almost no tzatziki and loads of onions. Great, lively jointed recommended by my Greek friends that did not disappoint. Ambience/atmosphere: casual, bright, yet welcoming, clean, and new. It's got lots of white and blue Greek flag color themes as well as some title and marblesque flooring, fixtures, and decor. It's a refreshing and lively place. Good music playing in the background, drowned out the crying of our toddler easily.Service: It's counter service here but there are folks that deliver food and drink to your seat. And there are plenty of seats. Groups or couples or singlets are all welcome here. The hosts have a good sense of humor, are easy-going, and very friendly/nice with kids. They even gave our screaming toddler a free seltzer in a compassionate gesture. Food comes out relatively quickly. They're constantly grilling meat and veggies, and the sides and deserts are on full display and ready to go.Food: So many options. The ordering online/delivery doesn't do it justice. It is best to be seen in person, from the assortment of dishes, pastries, to the daily specials written on the board behind the counter. There are lots of delicious options. The olive are great and fresh with nice accoutrements. The feta is great. I love the greek salads with lots of protein options. Everything here is amazing, I work next door and it's my go to spot for lunch. Everything is authentic, homemade and delicious. The staff is very attentive, and you're always greeted with a smile. I have never seen this place dirty, and the ambiance is amazing . Very bright. My favorite dishes here are the Gyro, chicken kebab lunch, quarter white plate, and the Athenian bowl. The ambiance was nice and since ordering happens at the counter, service was fine. The food was pretty good, but not as flavorful as other Greek places in the area. I used to get take-out here all the time, until COVID hit. Then it just sort of dropped out my view. Went back recently and was shocked how expensive and BAD it had become. The gyro plate was just gross. The meat was dried out crusty stuff, the pilaf/spinach vegetables must've been sitting there for ages, and everything else was just bland. Exceptional spot on Needham St for a quick bite to eat. I always get the Chicken Caesar gyro, which comes with a side greek salad. This is my mom and I's regular lunch spot and it never disappoints! We mainly get appetizers and the gyros but tried a special yesterday and it was delicious. The food is always fresh, the meat is never dry, the desserts are amazing (especially the orange pie) and I always take home some spanakopita and tzatziki which is also incredible. Have been eating here for many, many, years and it's always been a bit pricey. The food is generally good -- Greek salads, chicken rotisserie meals and sides, calamari salad, etc. and their Greek dressing is one of the best. Had myself some take out from here tonight.  I was looking forward to it all afternoon.  I ordered half a rotisserie chicken with butternut squash and potatoes.  I also had a side of chickpea salad.  Portions are generous, and the food is super tasty.  Get the potatoes!!! The good news is this place isn't hurting for business on a Saturday afternoon. They were busy on both sides of the counter. The bad...they can't handle it in terms of service even with more than enough staff. We ordered at the computer kiosk placed at the entrance of the establishment. Food took 45 minutes to come out despite me checking with the staff behind the counter numerous times. And the food was not worth the wait. My beef kababs were dry and chewy. Food here is okay but this review is mostly based on the dissatisfaction I have around the inability they have to support their curbside take out option.  They allow you to opt in for curbside takeout, as opposed to walk in, when ordering online. I have done this twice as I have two toddlers and it is challenging to get them in and out quickly. Both times, I have had to call when I arrived and was asked to come inside to pick up my order because they did not have enough staff to bring the order curbside. I do not mind if you cannot support a curbside option but then please do not offer it. It makes my job as a parent much more challenging when I have to accommodate the unexpected. More...

I ate here for the first time last week. The food was very good and worth the price. Unfortunately they did not have spinach pies even though I had paid for one. Once I brought this up with the staff either the manager or owner overheard and took charge. He apologized profusely and wouldn't let me me leave without picking something else. He refunded my full order without me even asking. I would have been fine with just getting taken care of next time I came in, but he wouldn't accept that. Was looking to try some Greek cuisine for the first time and ventured out to Farm Grill. First off, the portion sizes are HUGE and definitely worth their price. We got a feast: the appetizer sampler platter, the beef & lamb gyro, spanakopita, and the grilled chicken salad. The quality of the shaved beef and lamb in the gyro really stood out out to me, and it didn't have to be drowned in tzatziki sauce like other places I've been to. My second favorite item was the spanakopita; it was soo flaky and the spinach flavor wasn't overwhelmed by the cheese. From the appetizer plate, I liked the pita (tasted freshly baked and not dry) and moussaka the most. But the most unique dish by far was the kataifi (pastry made of phyllo dough strands coated in honey). This dessert had a similar filling to baklava but otherwise wasn't like anything I've ever tried. The texture was so unique and despite being coated in syrup, it wasn't too sweet! As a Needham resident over 30 years, I've been going to this restaurant for a long time. Recently we have experienced just plain bad food. This week we ordered takeout: a Greek salad [hello, a Greek salad!] and the lettuce was brown. The avocado salad was fermented and fizzy to eat and the grilled eggplant was bad too. The previous take out order also had spoiled avocado salad.With takeout, you just throw it away as it's too time consuming to complain. I write this review not for fellow diners but for the owners who should wake up and fix this. The menu says that small appetizers are $5. When I ordered a small order of grape leaves, they rang it up at $7. I asked about the price difference and they said that the price of the ingredients had gone up. I walked out. We have been getting meals for around 6 years traveling about 30 minutes on R128 to get there but no more. Our recent takeout, costing over $70, was inedible. The spinach rice and the green beans in tomato sauce were laden with salt. I called to complain and spoke to Alex, who said that he would refund the cost of the items. My favorite local mediterranean restaurant! All the ingredients are so fresh and good. For being counter-service, the ambiance of the restaurant is classy and dainty. It is walk up to the counter but still lot's of seats and a cute area overall. The staff is very nice and have strong Greek accents (that's when you know its real). They have a lot of options. Really fresh and good quality seafood and other meats. I usually always get the Pastitzio because it is SO good. They give you a huge chunk of the Pastitzio, like huge and so heavy, with a thick layer of the cream on top and very delicious inside of pasta and ground meat. It is 10/10 and something I will always order. With this dish, you also get a side salad, pita bread and 2 other warm sides!! So much food it is perfect. I've also gotten the chicken kabob sandwich with just pita and a salad and the chicken kabob meal which also comes with the sides. I haven't even talked about the sides yet. THE SIDES are insane. So many options between cold and warm sides. For cold, the avocado salad is amazing. Normally great food but something was definitely off this time!  Spinach & rice side was so salty that I could not take more than 2 bites.  Moussaka was also way too salty. The roasted potatoes were good but too many burnt ones  to pick through. It was finally time to try this greek/Mediterranean restaurant along Needham Street close by many other shops. I placed an order online, which took about 30-40 minutes to prepare. At pick-up, there were a lot of orders and a lot of people coming to get their orders, so I had high hopes that this place would be good from the reviews and the hustle and bustle of the place. I ordered a lamb and beef kabab with mashed potatoes & green beans as sides, another entree, and a cup of soup. As I was waiting for my order, another customer went to go check since they were missing something from their order, so before we left, we double-checked to make sure we had the right number of containers for our order. Returning home, we noticed our orders were slightly messed up, however, the food was good and we did end up with an extra cup of soup. I ended up with chicken and beef kababs and the other entree we ordered had different sides. Maybe they ran out of something and just substituted it with something else or maybe they just read the wrong order while preparing. The order was quite filling and I had leftovers for the next day. The meat was tender and moist, while the green beans were a little old, but had a very lemony taste to them. Stopped by today to grab some souvlaki and kebab entrees. Portions were smaller than expected for the prices, but it's a nice variety with the protein, two sides, and a salad. My souvlaki was dryer than I'd like, and the char was overpowering. I enjoyed the rice, homemade mashed, and lemon potatoes, but my Greek salad contained some bad lettuce that was rotting. The avgolemono was average. I came to grab takeout and the pick-up instructions were quite confusing and the person who took my call did not seem to know the process either.
