I was so nervous, about the activities I had planned. The Staff of the hostel made amazing suggestions and helped me with booking, and navigating the places we planned to visit. although the location may be a ways there are conveniently located city bikes if you're up to hop on one and travel around the town! I stayed two nights for a three day climb. Normally I would camp at Prentice Cooper, but I'd heard you can't miss this spot for $40 a night. Rained out two days, so I just hung out in the common area. Outside of Miguel's in Kentucky, this is the coolest place for an adventurer to stay. It was awesome to share the hostel with all festival attendees. I appreciated the staff looking out for us to have a great stay. I'm not a huge fan of hostels since I am a light sleeper, so I appreciated the private rooms, even at the extra cost. The hostel is well suited to a large event, with bathrooms and a full kitchen. There were enough bunks and private rooms for family and bridal party. What an awesome hostel! The Crash Pad has all of the vibes and affordability of a hostel, but it is also incredibly clean and the staff are so helpful and accommodating. Staying at the Crash Pad felt like I was at my own place- I could cook a meal, come and go as I pleased, and interact with other people if I wanted to. Best place to stay in Chattanooga. They have built a model facility and system. The place is so well designed and maintained that it's very hard to tell how old it is. I stay regularly and am always satisfied. Don't hesitate because of the community living aspect, there's always a welcoming feeling regardless of your age accent etc. Well maybe not welcoming for long if you dont do your dishes. More...

The Crash Pad is better than any AirBnB I've stayed at. The service is incredible, the staff helped us with restaurant and bar recommendations and current events in town. It is super walkable to a lot of great spots and there's a bar just next door if you don't want to walk far. They've got it all figured out, from making breakfast available in the morning, to renting out Organic crash pads and local guidebooks. Best customer service I've had anywhere. More...

Ours was a unique type of visit to Chattanooga, as my daughter and I traveled from Oklahoma City in order for her to have surgery by an expert in her medical condition. We were looking for lodging that used a minimal amount of harmful chemicals, fragrances, etc. We were very lucky to find The Crash Pad. We stayed a week in the Hemingway Suite and it was perfect. It was fully equipped with everything we needed. The staff was exceedingly helpful to us and were pleasant in every possible way. Hopefully your stay will be for a more recreational reason. Breakfast is included (coffee, tea, breads, jam and eggs). You can refill you bottle of water with fresh water from the fridge. You have also access to a laundry room and a few computers. Wifi was strong and reliable. They own the restaurant next door The flying squirrel and you get a 20% discount there as a guest of the Crash Pad. We found the place on AirBnB then booked through their website directly; we even chose our bunk locations. We went with the Super Bunks which were a great price and decently private with the blackout curtains. My boyfriend really appreciated the fan in the bunk too. It got a little loud at times with the clinking locks from the cubbies and the bands playing outside but it wasn't too difficult to sleep through. The place was super clean and we appreciated the environmentally-friendly aspects of the hostel, including using handtowels instead of papertowels or napkins. Breakfast was awesome.
