A great area to throw a small party. The location was easy enough to find and the space was great, had a great time hanging out outside and loved all the little amenities that came with it, cornhole boards, playset for kids, all kinds of stuff. Very impressed!

This place is a hidden gem. This venue is beautiful! Great for any event. I had my graduation party here. Everyone commented on how beautiful it was. The kids loved it. The owner is so sweet!!!! the owner was great ! She helped my dad and step mom with whatever was needed with the Wedding. She even helped with the babies inside so they could warm up . this venue is beautiful. this venue offers multiple options. has a beautiful back area for any outdoor events. very nice big covered patio as well as a really cute indoor area that offers climate controls. the owner is very accommodating, helpful and a pleasure to deal with. she really cares for her clients and will do whatever she can to assist and accommodate your event. Highly recommend The Cottage. We held our wedding here on November 10th, 2018. The place is BEAUTIFUL and the owner, Kathleen was very nice, easy to work with. Its out in the country so it's private. We held my daughter’s wedding here this past weekend. It was the best decision we could have made. Kathleen made us feel very comfortable and welcome. We had the run of her home and felt like we were at home. She went out of her way to help with anything she could. She even provided things we’d forgotten. I attended a birthday party here and the cottage had a sweet country charm. The staff was efficient and super friendly. The drive too was within minutes off the highway which is nice since the cottage offers a scenic view.

I have thought long and hard about how to word this as i know someone will still find a way to twist it into something other than what it really is. While i may not personally believe the same things, i respect the fact that the differences are what make us better when we can work past it without tearing each other down. Yes personal belief maybe doesnt belong in a business. BUT, a small business is extremely person as it is one's own creation and lifeline. We cannot demand acceptance while refusing to accept others differences. Kathleen is truly a kind hearted person that has gone through battles internally and externally to try to find a way to provide the services she does without hurting anyone. Just because someone does not fully support a difference does not mean they are immediately anti anything nor does it mean they do not accept you. It simply means they have a battle internally, spiritually, or otherwise personally that prevents them from participating. Ultimately, she is welcoming strangers into her home. The only way we get closer to the equality we all want to see is to respect that sometimes, it is simply too difficult to face and we must all be the adults we strive to be. Respect is earned, and believe me when i say, this woman is much better than many are immediately portraying. to force someone to ignore any belief they have is not freedom nor equality. again, while i may not personally agree with the "denials" i fully support her freedom to provide the amazing quality services she does. Just like many who commented would not just let anyone in their home, she should not be forced to. We as a society are better than this. Forward progress and the progress of love for each other only happens if the attacks on good people end. otherwise, it prevents their opinions or beliefs from progressing with all of us. The venue is beautiful. The service is amazing, and the owner is not hateful to anyone, even some i felt deserved a lot less kindness at times. If we tear apart the few good people and good things left, where will we find more? Keep doing what is right for you. Hopefully others will see that love cannot be built in hate, and you possess no hatred. More...

Private business owner has the right to refuse to serve anyone for any reason. Everyone has a right to their own personal beliefs and hating her for hers isn’t fair. That’s why this country has religious freedom in our Constituiton.

Visited the grounds, great owner to deal with, very affordable, many extras included, large spacious facility, I was unable to use for my wedding but recommended to all needed a gathering spot for everything from weddings, family reunions to any party. I had my wedding here in June and I would definitely recommend this location for any celebrations you may have. Kathleen was very friendly and accommodating, even my kids loved her! She was quick to respond to all of my emails and went above and beyond to make sure everything went smoothly for our big day.
