I just had the ribs and corn bread and have to say no one on the south shore is in the same league as The Chefs Table.
It's refreshing to have this quality right down the street.

The Chef's Table catered our recent wedding for about 110 people in Marshfield, MA. We were in an outdoor tented venue in the rain. The menu include a raw bar, shrimp, chowder, lobster (pre-cracked), chicken, and amazing vegetable and corn bread. The service was over the top impeccable. The passed appetizers were amazing as well. Truly a five star experience. My family and guests are still talking about the food and service. I cannot recommend these amazing folks highly enough. They truly, truly provided a the best food i've had a wedding EVER. And in family style. The Chef’s Table is the perfect choice if you are planning a catered event. Event Coordinator Makayla Reynolds, came to my home for a sight visit, plan the menu, coordinate rental furniture delivery, and answer all of my concerns.
On the morning of my daughter’s bridal shower, three servers arrived ready to work. They set up, served delicious appetizers, buffet, and dessert with polite efficiency. We worked with Chef’s Table as the main caterer at our wedding, and these guys were great! At the tasting, we worked with Makayla who made us feel very special and was able to answer all of our questions and concerns. Their team was incredibly prompt, responsive, patient and helpful throughout the entire planning process. We were pretty picky about what we were hoping for as what we were planning was pretty unique, and the team at Chef’s Table was incredibly flexible and willing to work with us to meet all of our concerns! Their food is delicious, creative and thoughtfully sourced! At our wedding, they were absolutely phenomenal-they showed up early, made the space look incredible with their serving supplies, and the workers who came were friendly and knowledgeable. We just used the Chef's Table for our wedding and post-wedding brunch. They were an absolute joy to work with, from food, to rentals, to planning. The food was delicious and we got so many compliments on it. Julie, Lauren, and Makayla were extremely helpful throughout the planning process and always prompt to respond when I had a question, concern, or request. When our rental company fell through just a few months before the wedding, they were there to help us find all the replacements. The Chef's Table were amazing! From the first interaction I had with them to the last, they were extremely prompt and clear with communication. The Chef's Table was the perfect vendor for a rehearsal dinner and welcome party. We had a small dinner for 20 people (they designed a Thai vegetarian buffet for us, including gluten free options) and the party expanded into a Welcome Party for 80 guests later in the evening with 9 dessert options and lovely fruit platters. The Chef's Table was incredibly organized, efficient and flexible. The food was delicious. The chef even came out and explained each of the dishes for us. The pricing was very reasonable and very clear. The staff was lovely for both events. They made the rooms look so pretty, placing confetti and tea lights that we had purchased. My family had already used the Chef's Table for my sister's wedding, so it was a given that we would be using them again. I refused to book my date without checking their availability first, because there was no way I was using anyone else . Simply put- they are amazing. I told my fiance a million times how great they were over and over but I knew he wouldn't get it until he had their food at the tasting. He was shocked at how wonderful everything was and kept telling me this was not the kind of food most people had at weddings. Not only is their food unsurpassed, they're great to work with. They handle anything/everything you throw their way....and I threw a lot! I was having a 300 person wedding at the Epicenter, which is an empty space so you have to bring in EVERYTHING. Julie and Lauren worked with all 20 of my vendors- coordinating floor plans, time drop offs, what I needed, quantities of everything and a million other things. I didn't want a sit down dinner, so Julie suggested stations. People are still talking about 1) how different it was and so they could eat anything they wanted, as much as they wanted 2) how amazing the raw bars, carving stations, pasta stations, and all the others were. I had cigar rollers, Elvis impersonator, a DJ, a band, photobooth, specialty coffee bars late night, I also had a ton of little things that needed to be put out, arranged, organized and they did it ALL! The chefs table catered our wedding the food was outstanding and we received many compliments on our menu selection, we went with the short ribs and the Statler chicken . Day of they all really hustled and worked well and didn't come to me at all asking any questions , which was nice. The thing is I went with this company because on their website it states how they plan and help you plan your event with you, our venue does not offer this service and we needed the help,this was absolutely not the case . They did not help me in planning my wedding at all and rarely responded to any emails or phone calls whatsoever, that was a huge disappointment and caused my fiancé and I stress and A LOT of work, chefs table should not advertise that they help you plan your event they do not, but day of they did a great job making things run smooth and the food was excellent . We recently used The Chefs Table for a handful of local wedding events- my bridal shower, rehearsal dinner, wedding reception, and even the brunch the day after the wedding! Lauren and the rest of the team/staff at Chefs Table are excellent! Lauren is so very knowledgeable, and helped put my mother and I at ease during the whole planning (wedding) process! She had great recommendations throughout the whole process, from choosing colors & styles, to helping us create the perfect menu for each event! From my initial contact with Lauren, to the site visit and all my emails and questions, and of course, the big day, everything was amazing with TCT! Lauren was always very responsive and their proposals break everything down for you so you know where your money is going. As our venue was not one where there are typically wedding receptions or large events, Lauren visited for a site visit where we walked over every detail of the space and potential layout, very helpful and eased my mind! On the day of the wedding, everything was perfection, their 11-person staff (for our 78-person, plated reception) made sure no detail was missed. All the food was absolutely delicious and included a raw bar (served in a perfect Cape Cod dingy), stationary cheese platter, passed hors d'ourves, and a choice of mouth-watering stuffed chicken or (perfectly cooked) sirloin, we've received a ton of comments on how good everything was! What a great catering service! We used them for our rehearsal dinner. They came to our house, set up, heated up the food, and staffed the event for the whole night. This was a totally positive experience from the moment we selected our menu to the actual day of the event. We had The Chef's Table cater a plated dinner for our wedding, with some very particular dietary requests for several of the guests. They did a fantastic job. They worked with us on our requests each step of the way. I got married in June, 2016 and couldn't have asked for a better experience through Julie and her team. The food was amazing, the service was impeccable and they truly helped make our wedding the best day of our lives. Julie was instrumental in our wedding planning process, as we got married at a venue that doesn't typically hold more than 2-3 weddings per year. She helped make the process as streamlined as possible, and helped us remain calm and relaxed through the whole process. The Chef's Table staff also made sure that we were actually eating on our wedding day, which is a rare occurrence! Julie was totally professional in every aspect of her operation.
She was so organized, her quote included tables and chairs , linens , bar set up and staff.
So wonderful since our daughter's wedding reception and dinner was at our home
Not only that but she kept us on track thru the day.

The Chef's Table catered our daughter's wedding in Norwell, MA on July 18, 2015. The comments we received from several guests were that the food at the wedding was the best wedding food they had ever tasted! The food was delicious! We had two guests with allergies and they expressed thanks that the staff went above and beyond what they hoped for - providing them with their own personal meals that were safe for them to eat. One other guest declared that they were vegetarian at the reception - and the staff prepared a special meal for them on site. From the moment we made contact with the company to the end of the reception we found the people we dealt with to be professional and extremely helpful. Our most important criteria for a caterer was their ability to do family style, and we wanted a Mediterranean meal for our rustic South Shore wedding. They were prompt and professional throughout the planning period, and offered creative menu proposals. Their chef is a miracle worker and pulled out authentic tasting dishes to the point that my Israeli family felt their falafel rivaled the best in Jerusalem! Their plating is elegant as well. My husband and I were so impressed with The Chef's Table when one of our friends got married and how beautiful their team made that event so special, we knew right away who we wanted to cater our wedding. From the initial tasting and helping us decide the menu, both Julie and Lauren were extremely helpful.

We had lived abroad and third of the wedding party was coming from abroad.
We had many requests for the menu wanting to showcase New England foods while still pulling in influences from our time in Germany and Japan. At our tasting the chef came out to explain everything she had made and honored our request for "European" breads among many things.

On the day of the wedding Julie and her team made everything come to life. The lobster stuffed haddock just melted in our mouths as a highlight we totally recommend. Our guests continue to comment on how wonderful the food was that day and the sake cosmos, our signature drink, ended up being the most popular drink we had. Their attention to detail, flexibility in helping us plan and warmness to our guests was so appreciated.

Sam, Lynne and Maureen were great. Service was wonderful and the food was delicious. The filet of beef was amazing! I would have enjoyed a few more appetizers and candidly did not love the dessert (apple pastry with ice cream. ..tort was too "tough"). But the evening was lovely and we have you to thank.

I have used The Chef's table several times. The food has always been excellent and presented in a very gourmet way. The server I had was excellent. I felt like a guest at my own party. He served the appetizers, meal, cleaned up during and after the party, put away all the food and took out the trash with out any prompts from me.
Their staff was great to work with too. Very flexible and prompt in getting back to me.
Chef's table is great if you just want to order a few dishes or a big spread.

Chef's Table did a wonderful job at our wedding. We did a DIY wedding and we were on a budget and Chef's Table worked with us to make sure that we were able to get great food, appetizers, and linens and still stay in our budget. Along the way we had a million questions and every time we reached out they got back to us and answered our questions.

Since we didn't have a wedding coordinator, Chef's Table stepped in and helped put out the linens and the center pieces.

We did a buffet and cheese/cracker/fruit table during our cocktail hour. All of our guests loved our food and we had a picky crowd. We did a buffet and it was very well organized, no one was waiting around for food. We highly recommend Chef's Table.
