Absolutely perfect!!! I would choose this venue over and over again. Doug and penny are so wonderful and helpful. The day was perfect! The venue is breathtakingly beautiful. The time frame they allow is more than generous. The bridal suite is beautiful, the groom shack is amazing. I suggest this venue to any couple who wants a beautiful outdoor ceremony and reception. The Carey Farm and Carey family will steal your heart! Doug & Penny are the most talented and organized people you'll meet - they offer all the services you could want in addition to the venue itself: DJ, Catering, Bartenders, Lawn Games, Dancing Lessons etc. Anything you could want! The best part about them is they are 100% genuine. They are not in this to make money off of you, they care about you. That was clear straight from the beginning. Penny & Doug spent weeks cooking all of our food and Penny even made her famous Vegan BBQ recipe because I myself (the bride) and many of my family + friends are vegan. INCREDIBLE. They always responded to all my emails right away and had suggestions/recommendations all along the way. They allowed my family to come visit the property whenever we wanted and made sure that we were happy with everything by sending me in-progress pictures of site renovations. The venue is perfect for large or small weddings. I had 245 guests and there was tons of space! Our guests are dancers so my main concern was the size of the dance floor, which is huge! Takes over completely under their porch which has strobe lights and is well enclosed in case of rain. On my wedding day I even got to hold the Carey's 3-week-old puppies! These people are kind, generous and honestly will feel like family by your wedding day. I highly recommend The Carey Farm. We got married here this past weekend on our 6 year anniversary and we are so blown away by the love and the experience that we had here with Doug, Penny, our family, and our friends. We've been saying throughout this whole process. They are the jack of all trades. They cater, they teach dancing, they DJ, they can make the cakes, and they are so genuine. We were amazed by their understanding.We had a coordinator who was my friend and even she mentioned that Doug and Penny were extremely helpful on the wedding day. We had a day of schedule planned and nothing went according to the timeline, but they were still so accommodating with the food and the dancing. They thought ahead and always communicated their thoughts to make sure the day was perfect and flowed well, even if it wasn't according to plan.Doug and Penny, thank you for your support and generosity. My husband and I got married here this summer and it was the most perfect day! Doug and Penny were there to help us out from the very beginning of the planning process. They made sure to always be easy to communicate with and make themselves available for questions. My wife and I celebrated our wedding anniversary with dear friends on a beautiful evening in late May and our time was perfect; one of our best anniversaries ever. Doug and Penny made us feel so welcome and special. The grounds are beautiful and our dinner was elegant, gourmet, and perfectly prepared. Penny chose the menu and her chicken a la king was delicious and beautiful presented as was each course. We sat with our friends around a fire after our four course meal (with wine and sparkling cider). Doug and Penny brought us soft blankets as the sun went down and we laughed and told stories; never once feeling pressure to head home. We spent over four hours feeling pampered and relaxed. The Carey's are so easy to work with and knowledgeable about event planning; Penny even makes wedding cakes. We highly recommend Carey Farm and plan to returning. More...

The Carey Farm was absolutely beautiful! I enjoyed the scenic drive out to the farm, the waterfall, looking at the beautiful house, the flower beds, so many things. We hired the Carey Farm for our dance lessons and our catering. We were well prepared for our wedding dance and it was well received by the guests. ..not to mention we absolutely enjoyed ourselves. Additionally, the food was excellent. All of the guests (and of course, we, the bride and groom) loved the BBQ, hot dogs, and all of the fixings. I, Caleb Diaz and my beloved wife Karen Diaz got married at The Carey Farm on a beautiful late summer day (September 1st). Our experience at the venue (on such special day in our lives) was no less than amazing and breathtaking. The venue is so thoughtfully designed, our guests and vendors kept on complimenting us on choosing such an amazing place. Grownups made themselves at home in the various lounging areas the venue offers, and the kids were so happy running around the lawn. Penny and Doug showed remarkable support from the day we met them. In fact, they made a mark in both of our lives. If it wasn't for them, our day certainly would not have turned out as perfect as it was. From wedding planning to making our delicious cake, dance lessons for our first dance and making sure our guests were taken care of, the list can go on and on. My daughter, Heather, was on a very tight budget, and could not come close to affording other farm venues in the area. The Carey’s price for their venue was very reasonable and the most bang for the buck. It is also a very beautiful venue with a pond, a fountain, separate seating areas with fire pits for the reception. Flowers and beautiful landscaping abound! The Carey’s went over the top working with her to provide the perfect wedding. Tables, chairs, and tablecloths were included in the price. They provided a sound system and a customized play list for the reception music. Two hot air balloons from an adjacent business floated by during the reception, which was an extra bonus on a beautiful day. Everyone commented on what a beautiful venue it was.
