Good cake! Expensive, but good. Enjoyed the lemon for the top tier. They included the flavor for the too tier without additional cost. The pink champagne is very good, I just couldn't afford all the additional costs for flavors! The confetti and vanilla went over very well!! A slight complaint was the delay in getting the contract. They're a very busy place! We did add a cake topper at the last minute (we married the same day as my great grandparents and were given the cake topper they used by my grandparents) and it made it to the reception, but wasn't put on the cake. I used the Cake Gallery for my wedding cake. Not only do they have the best flavors, but they were so easy to work with when having the cake delivered and designed. I had no idea what I wanted when I walked in and they were helpful in designing something beautiful. My husband was blown away by their flavor choices (we were going to have white grocery store sheet cakes for our guests). We decided to do our whole order with the Cake Gallery, everything was a great price and the relationship they had with Creighton for weddings made my life so easy! We ordered a three tier cake with raspberry swirl, pink champagne (their signature), and blueberry cream cheese flavors. Then the blueberry and pink champagne made it to our sheet cakes. Wow!! Had such a great experience with the Cake Gallery! I ordered a dinosaur cake for my sons first birthday and it came out amazing. I gave them a picture of what I wanted and they ran with it! They envisioned what I wanted and created it, better than I imagined. Not only was it cute, but so delicious!! It was such an easy process to walk in place my order and then a week later had it ready to pick up. Honestly I felt like I came super last minute, but they made it work within that time frame. YUM! First of all, their free tasting session was my favorite of all the places we went to. Super accommodating with tons of flavors to choose from. Show them a picture of what you want and they can do it. They have been around forever and their pricing is super competitive. We had a 3 tier cake – almond poppyseed with raspberry filling. literally the most delicious buttercream cake we tasted- I'm still wishing I didn't have to wait until my first anniversary to have more. We love the cake gallery, whenever there is a birthday or special event we offer to bring dessert just so we can spread the word and everyone is always impressed. My favorite is anything German chocolate, she likes the pink champagne cupcakes. I think the thing that i like the most is the fact that the frosting is not overtly sweet, a lot of the custom dessert places make the frosting so sweet it is hard to eat but they seem to have perfected a perfect balance. I came here with a friend purchasing a couple cakes from work. I will say that everything looked delicious! Also, everyone that worked there was extremely friendly and helpful. My family has ordered cakes from The Cake Gallery for years, so my husband and I knew we wanted to talk to them while planning our wedding. We met with Naomi for our consultation and tasting and were immediately impressed. Naomi was patient with our indecisiveness and provided many images for inspiration. When we finally found some inspiration pictures, she put together a plan for us to get a beautiful design in the flavors that we wanted while also taking our budget into account. On the day of the wedding, The Cake Gallery did not disappoint. The delivery drivers arrived promptly and quickly arranged the cakes that we had ordered. They were so fast that we did not notice them even though our ceremony was at the same location! At the reception, our cake was exactly the design that we had wanted and tasted absolutely delicious. This place is awesome! I live out of state and ordered a birthday cake for my brother and had it delivered to his house. They delivered earlier than promised the day of and the customer service was excellent! I ordered the lemon lovers bc my brother is a huge fan of anything lemon. The cake was beautiful, at our consultation I had given them a picture, and then while talking about it, modified it quite a bit. They took what I asked for and made it very pretty. When we did our cake tasting, some of the flavors I had to pick up a different day. After picking up the different flavors, we wanted to modify our order based on one we just tasted that we really liked, but evidently that message didn't get written down or something, because it was left out. this weekend is my birthday and Wednesday I decided to get myself a birthday cake. I love that the cake gallery has 6 inch masterpieces for a reasonable price so yesterday I set off on my birthday cake quest. the store is just off 84th and Hascall in the Westlake Shopping center off 84th near Center. its storefront isn't facing 84th - its facing Hascall. my gps led me right to it after I drove past it thinking I could drive and look- plenty of parking. the Cake gallery itself is a large store with plenty of displays of cakes to give you an idea of what delicious pastry they can make for you to enjoy. its exactly like the bakeries of old that I remember going to here in Omaha. before I went I asked several people at work and my answer was- Cake gallery- they are the BEST you need to get a cake there! as they told me about past birthday and wedding cakes that were provided devoured and completely enjoyed from the Cake Gallery. I bought a double chocolate champagne cake- they have ready to go cakes for people like me who just walk in and they will add decoration for you. I declined simply because the cake was fantastic as is I had the choice of several truly gorgeous cakes in marble white and the chocolate which was calling my name. they also have cupcakes cookies tea cakes and brownies along with a display of different flavored breakfast Danish. they had cherry cream cheese- my favorite and it came home with me too and was seriously Delicious as well.. once I tasted the Danish I knew that cake would be fantastic. the nice counter lady told me the basics- keep cake flat taking it home- cake was taped to the bottom of the box bless them- keep cake refrigerated and take out one hour before serving for best "temperature". I cut the cake and took a forkful. even cold this cake was unbelievably moist fantastically chocolate and completely delicious. word of mouth was right.. get your cakes here.. I certainly will be! My son is a huger Dr. Who fan and I wanted to get him a tardis cake for his 16th birthday. I wasn't sure where I could find one, but found The Cake Gallery website and they had 2 different kinds.
